yes i finally got star ocean 4, i've been waiting about 3 months now since the supposed "world wide release" of march, but i have it now and i can put that behind me ... unfortunately it'll have to wait because i'm playing FFX at the moment .

in other news, my japanese study at uni is going really well. so far i've got53% out of a possible 62%, so i've already passed. theres one more exam on the 25th thats worth 38% and if i do really well on that (32% or higher) i'll get a 7 (85% or higher)for the subject, which is the best score you can get .

also, at the end of the year the university is doing a study trip to japan and theres a very high possibility that i'll be going . it goes for a month and you get 2 credit points for doing it (the japanese subject i'm doing right now is worth 4 credit points, but most other normalsubjects are worth 2). it'll cost around $3500 but thats not really a huge problem for me.

well, thats it for now... i might do another anime top 10 list some time, but until then i'll see you in the unions... or in your blogs... if i actually remember to check them out (i'm lazy when it comes to that )

a couple of days ago, it was April 27, a day i've been waiting for for the last 2 months, because i thought i would finally get my hands on star ocean 4. so i went into JB hi-fi, and its no where to be found, not even in the "coming soon" section. thinking that they just don't have it because they're not really a game shop i go to EB and to my suprise its still in the "coming soon" section. so i ask the lady at the counter when exactly this game is supposed to be coming out... and she tells me. now i'm not quite sure what she said, i can't really remember on account of the fact that i was so angry, but i'm pretty sure she said June 3rd... JUNE 3rd (it was either that or may 3rd). i could go on a massive rant right now but i'm not going to just because i don't want to spend that much time thinking about it... but come on..... i mean, COME ON..... so much for a "worldwide release".

thats all i'm going to say about that...

star ocean: the last hope, was supposed to come out today (3rd of march) and i couldn't find it in any shop. having come to the horrific conclusion that it isn't out yet, i asked one of the people at EB games and apparently, they don't even have a release date on their computers . i think i remeber reading somewhere that we weren't getting it until april but i could have sworn the release date was the 3rd of march.

the thing that really annoys me about this (if it actually did come out today) is that we see all this hype about games like resident evil 5 and halo wars because they're american made, but when it comes to a game like star ocean, not only do we not hear anything about it, but actual game shops don't even have a clue when they're coming out. the same thing happened with star ocean 2 for the psp. the day it came out i looked through 4 or 5 shops and only 1 of them had 1 copy of it. seriously i was looking forward to this game almost as much as FFXIII, and now i have no idea if its out yet or when its coming out. why can't we get more deffinitive dates for the releases of japanese games?????

if i'm wrong and the release date actually is in april sometime pay no attention to my rambling.... but still even if it is coming out in april places like EB games should have the release date in their comuters right?
