Meh.
    So i've returned to the land of tea and scones as well as real life and i'm not enjoying it. Suffice it to say my "vacation" was more on the lousy side. But that's all in the past. I got Far... The looming new year.
    So 2005 has been a pretty good year as far as gaming is concerned. I have played a boatload of PC games and experienced some great titles as well as some intense frustrations... Well that's enough of that.
After several weeks I have finished Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines. I have been moaning about the issues i had with the game and they kept up right to the end. There are mulitple... I love to frag, don't you?
So Bloodlines is trying my patience lately. I can overlook a lot of things, The game has to have exceptionally terrible graphics before i don't want to play it. I'm a little more picky with sound... Relax and accept it, it doesn't hurt that much when you do.
So i'm still playing Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines and i've adapted somewhat to the games numerous issues. I've managed to adapt to the combat system as best i can but the movement... Put the knife down man! It's not worth it!
Yet again I find myself wishing i was sitting on a couch with a PS2 rather then slouched in my chair swearing at my PC.    Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines is my latest frustration, the game has... Ready to tear my hair out and cry.
So i've been playing Icewind Dale for about a month in between shifts and the game is both increadibly frustrating and fun at the same time. I can't say which of the two is the dominate... No more Painkiller . . . . . . . . .YAY!!!
So i just finished playing Painkiller and it's expansion over the course of a month. The game is great, despite a few technical glitches i encountered, and i enjoyed playing it. However after... Oh how I yern for the stability of console gameing.
So a year after i bought it i have finally sat down and started playing Painkiller. And the game is absolutely fabulous. The graphics are top notch, the gameplay is insanely fun, the sound is... Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
This game is awsome and you must play it now. Seriously, the game is great. The action is good, the graphics are great, the sound is awsome. The story and acting is really good. This game must be... OMG Halo!!!
So I picked up a much needed Geforce 6600 GT this week and i must say it's treating me well. Several games that were basically unplayable due to stupid low frame rates are now quite pretty looking... PC rpgs
So i've come to the conclusion that the folks over at Black Isle where great people before they were shut down. The number of great games that came out of that studio is amazing. However i really... Dungeon Crawl . . . . ugh!
So i just finished Dungeon Siege and it had it's good points and it's bad points. I'll get around to writing a full review at some point but until then suffice it to say that the game goes through... almost there!
2% and i can write my own reviews. Wonder what i'll use the journal space for then? More importantly i wonder if people will ever notice that i'm even here? So how about that Half Life 2 ending . . . .
You know what kids? I can't wait till i hit lvl 6 and gain the ability to do proper reviews. Rather then put them here so nobody can even pretend to care. But hey! at least i'm not getting any... The wait for KOTOR 2 begins.
I patiently wait for the 1st patch, which by now has become somewhat legendary. You can't go on a forum about the game without hearing something about "where the hell is that patch". I can't wait... At long last . . . .
I'm finally going to get around to playing Half Life 2. I've had the game since February but i just havn't got around to playing it. Since i finished Doom 3: ROE yesterday i figured that HL2 is... this is sad.
I just finished Star Wars: KOTOR and as a whole the game was awsome. One of the best games i've played in a while. I'd love to pick up KOTOR 2 today but from what i hear the game is insanely... My god Star Wars: KOTOR is good!
