I haven't bought into this new GS layout. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I still don't get it completely yet. I'm sure if I give it more time, I'll get used to it.
Yesterday, a weight was taken off my mind. I was running out of money, and I wanted to buy Mercenaries 2, Fable 2 and I still wanted some money left over in the case of Chinese Democracy being released, or just to have so that I could spend on going to the cinema or whatever. I got a call from work last week asking if I could work on August 15. I was delighted, and for one day I made ninety Euros. They wanted me to go in a bit earlier (10 AM), and the reason was because they wanted me to play Secretary for a few hours while they went out for a long lunch. The phone was on answering machine, so all I had to do was sit there and press the buzzer on the door when someone calls, and sign receipts for packages that came in. Easy money.
Then I was thinking to myself "where did all the money I made back in June go?". In June I made about 420 Euros. And before August 15, I had 170 Euros. I bought MS points, XBL Gold, GH: Aerosmith, a few trips to the cinema. Suppose it all adds up. At least now I have 260 Euros. That Mercs 2, Fable 2 and over a hundred left over.
So that's the money issue. Has anyone played Bionic Commando Rearmed? It's one of the hardest games I've ever played. I beat it on medium after three days. Getting all achievements will be VERY tough.
Talking about achievements, want to see the EASIEST set of XBLA achievements? Check this out. Enter the pause menu and get 35 frickin' points!!! Also, the Mercenaries 2 achievements have been revealed. They're very easy, but all of them are named after rock songs. The ones I know off hand are:
Armaggedon It by Def Leppard (Destroy 20 buildings)
Balls To The Wall by Accept (Beat the winching challenge three times)
No More Mr. Nice Guy by Alice Cooper (Make all factions HOSTILE)
Highway To Hell by AC/DC (Complete three different races)
Nothin' But A Good Time by Poison (Destroy 200 objects from the gunner seat in Co-op)
Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper (Earn $1 Billion).
Check out the full list here.
Last thing to talk about is that Chinese Democracy (new Guns N' Roses album) may launch exclusively to Wal-Mart in America, and the song Shacklers Revenge leaked onto the net (the song in Rock Band 2).
That's it for now, have a great week.
