On Thursday, Windows 7 will be available to purchase from retailers all across the world. Thankfully putting an end to the horror that is Windows Vista.

In my last blog post, I showed you my gaming setup. A few eagle-eyed readers noticed a mouse on my desk and correctly assumed I used my TV for my Xbox 360 and PC. Well that PC is 5 years old! And it cost me like £200. Guess what, it runs Windows 7 superbly. So if you're worried about your oldish PC not being to run it, don't worry it. It will run it.
Windows 7 is basically a trimmer version of Windows Vista. It no longer hogs all the resources of your computer (unlike Vista) and just makes your computer perform better. All you PC gamers may want to upgrade to 7 as I've heard it runs games a lot better. Hopefully my school will upgrade to Windows 7 sometime soon as we are all still using XP. I currently use a MacBook for all my computer work, however, I should be getting a new PC for Christmas. With Windows 7.
If you are currently running Vista, I urge you to upgrade to Windows 7. It will make your computer run a lot faster.
So, what OS are you running? Windows XP? Vista?
On a personal note, I have half-term break from school next week. Making that wait for Modern Warfare 2 a little easier.
Okay guys. Take it easy.

I don't really have trouble with Vista, it's just that 200$ isn't worth it. For now, at least.
@red0584: No I don't, I don't think it could even run Windows 95!
@Private_Adam: Yep, you should definitely upgrade at some point.
@macrules_640: I'm running Snow Leopard on my Macbook too. The start up and shut down speeds are fantastic! Haven't noticed too much difference in starting applications.
@hank_101: If you've got a decent computer, Vista is OK. But Windows 7 is so much better.
@60spaure: I'm going buy a new PC with Windows 7 pre-installed too.
@10below: Yeah, the little Windows Icon in the corner is the start button. The icons in the taskbar are the applications you are running, they just don't have no text anymore.
@ebbderelict: That's a great deal. If you have one of them upgrade offers you should definitely take it, Microsoft is desperately trying to get everyone off of Vista and onto 7.
@theslimdavylp: I think you would be better buying a new PC with Windows 7 pre-installed.
@Neo-EGOS: It comes with loads of bloatware, it hogs all your computers resources, it has that stupid thing popping up everytime you try to do something. Etc..etc...
@syler4815162342: Yeah it should, I had a really old PC running XP and it is now running Windows 7 a lot easier. Although, not up to the standard I need. That's why I'm getting a new PC with it pre-installed.
