I'm moving on to comicvine.com to express my comic book nerdness. It's been fun. I just wish more people on gamespot were interested in different forms of entertainment. Man cannot live on video games alone.
This story arc, in which Bruce Wayne ostensibly perishes after going completely mad during a battle with a group of villainous high-stakes gamblers, has taken its share of flak from critics. While leaving a few ends considerably loose (is Dr. Hurt really Thomas Wayne, and is Alfred really who he says he is?), and completely boggling many Bat fans' minds, I thought Grant Morrison's RIP was intriguing at the very least and have to confess to enjoying it, as well as Morrison's "Batman and Son" and "the Black Glove" story arcs, thoroughly. I'd have to say that I think Grant's work has gone misunderstood and under-appreciated by critics and fans alike. With this creative team, you had to expect such a strange story and come to it with an open mind. Has anyone else read RIP? And, if so, any thoughts on it? Any speculations on who will be next to wear the cowl?
