for the 3rd time in a row, a tyrolean won starmania!!!! (the austiran version of pop idol)
that's soooo great!!!! first winner was michael tschuggnal, a friend of mine. second winner was verena pölzl, she took over my place when i quit the job at a band a few years ago.
and now nadine beiler, a 16 year old, absolutely talented girl, who happen to live 10 min. away from me, won the 3rd season!!! absolutely faboulous! i can't believe it!
and do you wanna know, why this is soooo faboulous? because nearly all of the cultural money support goes to our capital vienna. i sang at the tyrolean production of the musical "hair", 4 years ago, and the press, especially the musical time, had the opinion, that our production was better than the performance in vienna. and we didn't get any money from our governement.
and this is sooo good, that nadine won today! because maybe, maybe, they will realize now, that we have great artists in tyrol!!!

That's pretty cool with all of those winners from your area. Any videos/pictures of your performances? (Oh, I saw that there are pictures on your website. Oops.)

hi indianamom, hi home, hi monster! .
thanx so much for visiting! i talked to a lot of musician friends of mine this weekend, and they are all very proud of nadine, that she really did it! but everybody is also concerned because she really is young. and getting famous at this age isn't sometimes healthy for the personality. we will see, i keep you posted.
@ home: well this isn't excactly my website. but i'm working on it. and when it's ready, maybe there will be a big feature at the very famous austrian music corner!?
