Why are you blamin' someone else? That is the nature of the beast AKA the NFL!!! What? LT wasn't supposed to tackle? See any of the games recently? The hits in today's game are far worse than then; not to mention it was a freak accident. LT had nothing to do with ruinin' Joe's career. He was on his way out. He, maybe, had two years left and his skill set were deteriorating at that time. Though he was still good, he was ponderin' retirement. i watched that game and heard in games prior to that MNF game (in the same season mind you) that he was ponderin' leavin' b/c John Riggins was either gone or hurt at that time and yes Riggins shouldered a heavy load which probably prolonged his (Joe's) career.
All that to say OUCH!!!!! for the umpteenth time!!!
