Been going back to some game that i've missed around 04-07. I'm up on writing my first user review based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl but here is whats was the experience with the game in a short POS and NEV points:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl:

++Pros++
-Good merge of FPS/RPG element
-Environment/Setting
-Random stashes
-Realistic weapon accuracy
-Smart AI
-Status effect elements (Bleeding, Eating, Radiation, ECT...)

--Negatives--
-Weapon damage is low
-Poor optimizing
-Low amount of polygons in the game's models.
-Bugs are still present even after the latest patch
-Joining a faction is useless and brings no benefits, It will just make the opposing faction be hostile towards you and will just make the game harder.
-Friends status is useless
-Optional quest are unorganized and are made worse with a timer.
-Its mod-able but due to them using the .txt files many of them will conflict with each other and are difficult to merge.
-A-life is limited, the creature and human AI cannot pass a certain area or transform to another zone

Not a bad game despite all the negatives. But it really needs improvement. It's prequel clear sky is going to be released in Q3 of this year and many issues that were in the first game will be fixed along with some new features. Now I've also played Quake 4 a launch title for the x360 but there isn't really much to say...

Quake 4: It's the most average shooter I've ever played. but it does have that old-school feel to it.
