Okay so I bought Fallout 3 for Windows XP, but I'm having some problems with it. I've successfully installed it and linked my gamertag to Games for Windows LIVE. But I can't start a new game, I can get to the main menu and do everything fine, but when I hit new game and it begins to load the game crashes. I'm running on a Macbook but I've partitioned it with Windows XP, can someone please help me get this working?

Hmm, maybe it's an ffdshow problem... (if you have that installed that is), it has caused problems for me before when it comes to games.

Hmm it could be a hardware or software problem.

Does it always crash at the same spot? If so it could have trouble reading a file from the CD or the HDD. All I can suggest is to reinstall it, and if you have the same issue go back to the store and ask for another copy. If then the same issue again arises then it's an issue with your hardware/software setup.

If you're having problems you must be getting some kind of error or other notivication. Can you describe what you're seeing?
