For the past 8 months EVE Online has pretty well run my life and I have to say it's starting to feel less fun and more tedious. It's absolutely great game except for the bugs and CCP constantly nerfing everything but I think it's about time I head back to console games for a little while. That's if I can stay away from Pirates of the Burning Sea. I have to say I've greatly enjoyed Call of Duty 4 for the PS3. One thing that gets me a little annoyed is the number of people with mics that play PS3 online I would like a few more people that's for sure. I finally got myself another XBox360 against my better judgement this one has held together good so far (knock on wood). On the other hand my Wii has become a paper weight because just a lack of games that grab my attention.
On a side note everyone should go watch Sweeney Todd it is absolutely increadible.
No this isn't a flame that the PS3 has one the console war (although it's won it for me). But this is a blog post saying I'm done with the 360 and putting it to rest after having my 3rd xbox360 die this morning. I'm not paying another 140 dollars to fix it I'm just not. Microsoft needs to figure out their crap I mean yes I went through 3 ps2s but I did it in 5-6 years I've gone through 3 360s in what about a year now cause I got my first one in march. I can live without Halo 3 hell it's overhyped anyway it's just another fps drawing exactly from the same formula as the previous 2 now it's a good formula but hell. I guess this is turning into a flame but you know what I'm pissed off I've got 20+ games for my 360 and a 10 lb paperweight that won't play them for more 4 months. I mean yes my folks smoke and people have said the dust from that will kill it. I can understand yes it probably will. Ok I'll just open the side and use air duster inside to get it out.... wait can't open voids waranty. I don't care if Micro$oft didn't expect people to smoke the thing shouldn't be able to fry eggs. Shouldn't sound like a ferrari either but that's understandable. Ok next you buy a premium cause it's the best thing out they come out with the elite the elite comes out they release a halo3 themed one. I mean there is even a simpsons one coming out. When there is 7 versions of the 360 to compete with the ps3 and the developers have to go for the low end it's gonna inhibit gameplay maybe not now maybe not 2 years from now but after 3-4 years of the xbox360 life cycle it will be obsolete and microsoft will just roll out the next one and people will be sore from there 360s breaking even after upgrading each time the new one came out... /rant end.
This post is not meant to flame 360 it does but I'm just peaved that they can't create a system to survive at all.
