Yes, because Razerblade is so awesome, he decided to tag me, making this the third time. Oh well, it could be worse. I could be Cloud or Blade. ![]()
Here we go:
1. Lately, the game Epic Mickey has caught my interest after reading more about it in last month's issue of Game Informer.
2. I found the game Deus Ex in my dad's old computer game collection, and I might play it in the future since I heard it's really good and it was made by the creator of Epic Mickey.
3. I'll be making a special blog on November 27th. Big points for those who can guess what's so special about that day. ![]()
4. My favorite game genres are RPGs and Platformers.
5. I can play Guitar Hero and Rock Band on expert (with the guitar), but I can't play an actual guitar very well at all.
6. I've been playing the trumpet since 6th grade, and I used to be the bugler for my scout troop, but I stopped doing that because they kept volunteering me to play at events without even asking me if I was willing to do them.
7. My hair is starting to grow down to my eyes again (it's curly, so it would be past my eyes already if it was straighter.
8. I have never travelled to any country outside of the United States. ![]()
9. I promise that I'll make the stupidity test blog as soon as possible.
10. I tag nobody this time. Haha! ![]()
There you go, that's ten things about myself, you can get on with your lives now. ![]()
*Prays that I won't get tagged again*
(And I promise I'll at least try to make the useless blog today
)
That's right, as promised, this time around I'll be giving you guys a tour of my useless book collection, saying which books I have, which information I've shared from them, and how I got this useless hobby in my life started.
First off, let me give you a brief history of how I started getting into these books:
I actually hadn't started getting all of these books until last year, when my 8th grade science/math teacher started reading a book out loud to the class at the start of every period. This book was called The Book of Useless Information. After he started reading that, I made a trip to Barnes & Noble and bought a copy of that same book for myself. Since then, I've gotten more and more of that series as well as the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader series and a trivia book that I've yet to tell you guys about but will inform you of in this blog. Enjoy! ![]()

See this right here? This is the Useless Information series. These are in order of creation from first to last, and as far as I know, there are currently five in the series. I have them all.
As you can probably tell, the squirrel is the mascot of the company that makes these books, the Useless Information Society, headed by Noel Botham. These books are made in London, England (where the company is located), but they can be found in America in pretty much any bookstore with a trivia section. These books have been shared in my useless blogs many times, although so far I've just been sharing info from the first book in the series (in which I shared general knowledge in my regular blogs) and The Amazing Book of Useless Information (which has been used for more general knowledge and also the "Kennedy and Lincoln" and "Medical Reports" blogs).

These are the two books that I have from the Bathroom Reader series, their full titles being (from left to right) Uncle John's Extraordinary Book of Facts and Bizarre Information and Uncle John's Triumphant 20th Anniversary Bathroom Reader. Although these are trivia books, you'll sometimes find them in the Humor section of your bookstore. These books are written by The Bathroom Reader's Institute, located in the United States. So far I haven't shared anything from the first one (although there is a Jimi Hendrix conspiracy theory that I may share in the new future...which is more creppy than humorous but still very interesting), and from the second one I have shared the info that is in the "Car Anagrams" and "Bathroom Graffiti" blogs.

This is a book that I haven't shared yet but do plan on using. It's called How Dumb Are You? The Great American Stupidity Quiz, and it asks you all sorts of questions to determine how stupid you are compared to the people of America, as determined by a sample audience. I could make a blog using all of the questions (as long asyou be honest fo your rank), and show you just how stupid author Adam Winer thinks you are.
Basically, this book is meant to totally crush your self-esteem. You simply won't find Adam giving you a compliment unless you can really pull off the feat of answering all of his general questions correctly, and even then he'll only comment you in his own "special way" (by that, I mean he gives compliments as well as Simon Cowell). And just to add (even though I hope you guys don't buy it before I make the blog), this can be found in the trivia section of your bookstore.
And there you have it, these are all of the books that I have in my useless information collection so far.
This time, I'll let you guys choose between two themes for my next useless blog: The ones that I have in mind are either a Jimi Hendrix conspiracy article or a stupidity test from the last book that I mentioned. But knowing you guys, you'll probably want to see how stupid you are...
Tell me which you want, guys! ![]()

Well, you read the title. Today, the oh-so-nice the-silent-hero tagged me.
Now for ten more things about myself:
1. I'll admit it, I still watch some cartoons, but only the good ones, like reruns of good Nickelodeon shows.
2. My favorite song is Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.
3. I was born on May 21st, meaning that if I was born a day earlier I'd be a Taurus rather than a Gemini.
4. My favorite color is green.
5. I almost have straight A's in school so far.
6. I do not have a favorite movie, although Monty Python and the Holy Grail is really high up there.
7. I have 4 pet cats.
8. I have a Rubik's Cube, but it has been unsolved since the day I bought it since I can't figure out how to solve the dang thing. ![]()

9. Due to Boy Scouts, I typically go camping about once every month.
10. I do not enjoy making tag blogs.
I tag kjhg53 (just because I know he'll just copy and paste), Hyper_Hedgehog, and Forte224 (while I still have the chance).
