I don't know if anyone cares, but I figured I'd better announce it anyway. I'm leaving. TV.com, that is. And TVrage, if you also know me from there. Why? For a variety of reasons, some of which I will name:
~ I am a member of two show-specific fan sites, Hers and Hers and His Online (a Three's Company forum) and Harper House (a Mama's Family forum). I am also the sole administrator at the latter site. The communities there are very small, personal, and friendly (and composed of many of the same people as each other), which I much prefer over the huge anonymity of TV.com. Both of them give me more than enough chance to chat, and take away more than enough of my precious time. If you are fan of either show, please come join the forums! We'd love to have you there. Plus, they're the only places you'd be able to chat with me now.
~ I found a great new TV site that I plan on becoming a dedicated contributor to, The TV IV. Not only does it have the attractive simplicity of dear old TV Tome, but it is a wiki, just like Wikipedia. That means that any contributions anyone makes are added right away--none of this editor/contributor/approval stuff, which, to be frank, I always found kind of annoying. I encourage you to join and contribute, too. It's relatively new, and virtually all the guides are blank, so they need all the new members they can get!
~ Whatever time I don't spend at the above websites will probably be eaten up by my new career as a full-time English major at Penn State. Enough said about that.
Before I go, I'd like to thank all my friends (too many to list, you know who you are) for all the great memories. We've had quite a few interesting discussions. And I'd like to apologize for any times I may have accidentally offended anyone.
So, that's pretty much it. I may return here once in a while, but don't wait up for me. One year, three months, and 3,565 posts later, I'm leaving. Adios, TV.com! Crazy Legs has left the building.
