I'm so sad to see my Spring Break go, but I can revel in the fact that I got my fill on the best shows on television.
Monday:
I saw a wonderful episode of Prison Break. The brothers are on the run to Panama, but it was so sad that they had to leave Sarah behind. She was very loyal to lie to Michael and tell him that she was already on the boat just so they wouldn't get caught. But where did Michael go? I hope he's okay! I can't wait to see next week's episode - two more episodes until the best season is over
I think I'll be okay, as long as it is coming back for a third season.
I also got to see the newest episode of I Love New York. I know, I know, this show is so hilarious, it's one of my guilty pleasures. Well, New York got rid of Real. I liked Real, and thought that he was going to win the whole thing just because New York's mom loved him. But, of course, New York has to go against her mom and eliminate the most sincere guy (in my opinion) on the show. I really don't think Chance is going to win just because he almost took the money that New York's mom was offering him to leave and because he is too much like New York. But if she wants her male counterpart as her boyfriend, she can pick him.
To complete my Monday of wonderful television, I watched the latest episode of What About Brian. This show is so great! I'm so excited that Dave and Deena are getting back together. Deena had better say yes to Dave's proposal of remarraige. I also love the chemistry between Brian and Laura. I can't wait to see what's going to happen on the season finale tomorrow night. I'm so excited - the preview looked amazing - and I hope that the show gets picked up for the third season.
Tuesday:
American Idol night! You know I had to watch my American Idol and go crazy over the fact that Sanjaya is still shaking his skinny 17 year old tail on the stage. I couldn't believe that he has a fan, a little 13-year-old girl named Amanda who had her 15 minutes of fame all over TV this week. Amazing performances from Chris R., Melinda, LaKisha, Stephanie, Jordin, Blake, and Phil! Haley was wearing the cutest outfit, but her performance was mediocre. I can't even remember Chris S. and his performance through the audience. Gina is trying to be too rock and not show off her soulful voice. Overall, it was a good show.
I had to get dirty and watch the latest episode of Dirt. We're getting close to finding out who put the photos in Lucy's trunk, but it's really starting to look like Don is being forced to do it by his friend in a coma, but who knows! This show is so addictive, and I can't wait to see the highly anticipated season finale with Jennifer Aniston guest starring. It's going to be crazy!
Wednesday:
Friday Night Lights was spectacular! I loved every minute of this show. I can't believe Riggins and the next-door neighbor are starting a little affair! It's awesome! Also, I'm so glad that the mother and daughter duo of Angela and Tyra are as close as ever! I'm sad about the divorce of the Garrity's and how Lyla had to find out about her dad's chronic infidelity. And what about that kiss between Jason and the "tattoo girl" - I have no idea what her name is - but why can't Jason be honest with Lyla? He doesn't want to hurt Lyla anymore than she is already, I guess???
I was sad to see Stephanie go on the results show of American Idol. She's a million times better than Sanjaya and Haley
But the time that it took to announce her departure was so lame! I hated the performances by Lulu and that old guy! It was way too much to bear. I wish people would start voting for talent and not keeping the lamest people on this rip of a show!
Thursday:
My three hours of ABC started with Ugly Betty. I'm addicted to this show! It was amazing how Marc was finally willing to tell his mom the truth about his sexuality after his mom insulted Justin - the scene-stealer of the show. I saw Marc grow into a nice, sincere person throughout this episode. Now, as for Alexis and Daniel's ongoing feud, it will never end now that Alexis is working side by side with Daniel. But now it seems that Daniel is giving Alexis what she wants so that he can take a break from being the editor of Mode. I can't wait to see next week's episode.
Next, the Grey's Anatomy episode that I had to watch twice. It was that good! I loved the fact that George stood up to Callie's dad and finally remembered what happened between him and Izzie. The frustration and sadness between them in that linen closet left me speechless - the best scene in Grey's Anatomy history!!!! Who's going to be the next chief-of-staff at Seattle Grace? Who knew that Mark would have a shot after making a "Right Now" plan! Miranda should get all the credit for his plan since she blew him off with "right now!"
My new favorite show, October Road, was really good this week. Nick was hilarious when he started singing on the dean's lawn late at night. Also, drama ensued when Eddie tried to swoon Aubrey with a make-believe talking racoon. But there may be a relationship coming between him and Janet after he asked her out on a date. Can you say, cute? I love this show so much; I can't wait to see the next episode!
Friday:
I had to watch Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy again since they cut off my show, Ghost Whisperer, for March Madness college basketball! I was glad to see this episode again, but I can't wait until March Madness is over ![]()
I was waiting all week to see the return of Six Degrees on ABC. I'm glad to see that Mae and Carlos are still going strong, but I was a little mad to see that low-down cheating dog, Roy, still on the show. I know it was an accident, but I'm glad Whitney "accidentally" shot him in the leg with an arrow! I'm glad to see Laura getting a new love interest, but I hate to see a good couple like Damien and Regina end their relationship even after Damien is willing to come forward about the shooting. But just his luck, no one believes that he did it. See what having a clean record can get you? Next week's episode looks great! Can't wait!
I usually don't watch TV on the weekends because, in my opinion, nothing comes on Saturdays and Sundays, now that 7th Heaven doesn't come on (what's wrong with the CW???), and Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters are on hiatus. But I did watch Peyton Manning and Carrie Underwood on Saturday Night Live. Peyton was hilarious, and Carrie is one of the greatest singers right now and one of the best singers to win American Idol. So, that was my amazing week of television! I gotta go to sleep now because I have to wake up early to go to school (boo!) Goodnight!
