Just a quick blogging today.

I picked up the new Shadows Fall album today (Threads of Life) and might I say, it is quite f**king good. The first song, "Redemption" reminds me a lot of the first song off of their last album, a little song you guys might know from a little game called Guitar Hero 2, and a little song called "The Light that Blinds". I've gotten a little more then halfway through the album and it is shaping up to be one hell of a metal album.

My coop partner in GH just fived starred everything in hard today, so a little shout out to Dantallica!

Other then that, I have nothing new to report, sorry.

Later.

This is my first Gamespot blog so I decided to take this time to do a little introduction and give you a little background into my gaming preferences and other things I will be talking about in this here bloggy thingy. First off my name is Ryan, I'm 21 years old, and I'm an alcoholic...(awaits the oncomming greeting)...thank you, thank you. I am an indie filmmaker from Worcester, MA. And I'm sorry to inform you of this but YES I do want to make big budget films. I am indie now, but I don't want to be indie forever. That upsets some people that certain film makers don't want to stay true to their roots and make 15,000 a year for the rest of their lives. I make films to entertain people and if my film is released by Dimension or Fox or whatever then more people are going to see (and hopefully enjoy) my films.

Gaming wise I play a lot of random **** Lately I've been focusing on Guitar Hero II (along with 290,000 other people according to the leaderboards.) Other then that lately I've played a bit if Gears of War multiplayer, Tiger Woods 07, Resistance Fall of Man, and NHL 07.

I'll take this introduction to do my first hands on review. Lately I've been playing the open beta for Lord of the Rings Online, which happens to come out in 2 days. I think the game is wonderful on so many different levels. Like many of you the MMO that has ran my life for quite some time is World of Warcraft. After a while, if I may be honest, WoW just becomes boring. That's why Lord of the Rings was so appealing to me. The gameplay and mechanics are very similar to WoW but the world is cooler **** Middle-Earth **** and the quests are less cookiecutter (they give a little more background as to what you're doing and why) and the graphics are simply stunning.

So far I have a Lvl 12 Man Champion. Champion is kind of like the Rogue class in WoW. Dual wielding power house that deals out plenty of DPS. He wears medium armor (leather) and usually I end up with a Sword in my main hand and a Dagger in my off hand.

The instance system in LOTRO is awesome. There are "chapters" in which you're quests match up somewhat with the Fellowship. Each of these chapters seems to end with an instance that (most of the time) you run with a group of similar leveled characters. These instances are fairly standard, you fight mobs, find items, fight a boss. The thing that is more interesting is that at the end of these instances there is usually a "cinematic" in game where you find out more information on the Fellowship or Sauron or things of that nature.

So far I am finding the game to be way more amusing then WoW ever was to me (which is saying a lot since I've clocked in weeks of game time playing WoW) and I will definately be leaving Azeroth to spend my life in Middle-Earth.

Well that's it for me today. In the coming weeks and months and years you will see me more and more on here...especially when I'm at work or at school or just bored as **** Videos, pictures, and upclose nude shots of me to come soon!

Tune in Next Week!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like ckynish.
ckynish must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could ckynish possibly have for not rating a single film?
