So, I exchanged my defective GH:WT band kit for a new one and... so far so good! Drums are MUCH better... cymbals and drum pads all are at a good sensitivity. And the guitar hasn't died... yet. I'm a bit worried it could still stop working at some point. I did notice that this 2nd kit was packaged slightly differently than the first one... which hopefully means that these were made at a different manufacturer and thus possibly better? I guess we'll just have to wait and see how long they last. But just wanted to give you all an update on the faulty instrument situation.
