That's right. I recently realized after 2 years of Warcrack, That other games exsist for the PC and they are actually fun. My buddy Andee has been playing City of Villians, another MMORPG, and I decided to expand my horizons and check it out. If you were into comic books than you should check this game out. It pretty entertaining and has a lot of really cool features that WoW doesn't offer. First and most significant is the player creation. There are literally jabillions of combinations that you can put together for a totally unique looking charecter. Chances are you will never ever come across another toon that looks even close to yours, which unlike WoW, there armor and weapon models mimic eachother all too often. If you get your 8/8 T2 or the ubers out there with their top end pvp gear, everyone looks exactly the same. Boring. Another really cool feature is the ability to make a base. As I said before, my friend Andee has been playing for a while, so when I started up in CoV, I joined his Super Group, Red Devil Fight Club. He designed the base which is very interactive. Your able to design every part of it down to the wall design and floor pattern. No Bases or homes in WoW. Sucks. Eventually in CoV, your able the display trophies and weapons you aquire throughout your adventures. Both of these games have their ups and downs, and I wouldn't take one over the other. I enjoy playing both, especially since I'm weening myself off playing so much WoW. Both cost $15.00 a month to play. Battlefield 2142 is another game I'm playing. This is a very fun wargame which is pretty tough to get a feel for if your not used to playing this style of game. It's a FPS that's played online and multiplayer mainly. You have to rank up in order to get better equipment which is essential if you want to stand a chance in hell of surviving. Fun game all in all because it takes skill to make it through and you can't just rely on your teammates to achieve rank. 2142 is free to play online, although you can rent your own server for a small fee if you so choose. I just go sniping on other folks' servers. So if you see me out there, kill me while you can, because I'm damn sure doing the same thing.

So I've been on the Beta server Hellfire for about a week now. I've so far achieved level 64 on my warrior and I gotta say, Burning Crusade is gonna be a lot of fun. The zones are beautiful and the quests are really fun. Sure there's still the old grinding quests as usual, but Blizz has stepped up and put some thought behind the new content. I've experimented with both of the new races and they are both very fun to play. As a diehard alliance, I'm not looking forward to facing blood elves in PvP arenas. Their racials are crazy powerful and a blood elf paladin will without a doubt be the most powerful type of character in the game. I haven't played the new races enough to make a solid review of them, so I'll stick to what I know about, and that's my trusty warrior, Dollabill, and his adventures thoughout the outlands thus far.
It all begins with a trip though the now active Dark Portal in the blasted lands. The terrian in the blasted lands has slightly changed and the portal area now has the looks of a war preparation area. Going through the portal takes you to your first stop in Outland, and your immediatly met with giant elite mobs causing havoc for both the alliance and horde. It seems that in this particular zone, alliance and horde are working together to stomp out the scourge pushing to take over Azeroth. I stopped and chatted with a few NPC's, nothing special, basically telling me to hop on the Griff and head to Hellfire Peninsula. So I took a short flight to Honor Point where I picked up a handful of quests to get started with. Hellfire Peninsula is a great starter zone for working on getting up your skills to their new limits of 375. There's lots of beasts running around to kill and get meat for cooking, and cooking is a very viable skill in Burning Crusade. I never got my cooking skill past nine, so I really need to get that up before the expansion goes live. Some of the newer recipes add 20 strength, 20 agility, 25 to 30 stamina, and other various buffs. So sorry to all those people who farmed up the chimera chops recipe, the stamina buff is now commonplace in the new recipes. The quests take you all over the zone and will easily get you up to 61 if you do them all. The instances, The Ramparts and Blood Furnace, are both short and sweet. Very easy for most any player who's had some experience in WoW. The rewards are decent if you haven't done much endgame raiding. I personally have only replaced 4 or 5 pieces of equipement so far. Trinkets have really stepped up a notch though. There is a particulary fun quest that stick out in my mind that allows you to throw bombs down on targets while flying around on a gryphon. It's unlike any quest in WoW so far, and anyone who plays with regularity knows, a change of pace is always welcomed. The PvP arena in Hellfire Peninsula is a basic, take over three bases situation. The quest for it has been broken so far, so I haven't really messed around with it, or with PvPing much at all for that matter. I'm focusing on getting up to level 70 and getting the max level boredom before I start PvPing. So in a nutshell, that's what I've gotten from the first little part of Burning Crusade. I've explored much more content and will update my blog when I have time. I still have to fit in raiding Naxx on my normal server along with my beta testing and everything else.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like chiller420.
chiller420 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could chiller420 possibly have for not rating a single film?
