Privileged S01E01
I was skeptical. I was thinking "Oh, well I'll just skip this." But I sat down and I ended up watching it, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was worth the watch. Nothing overly grand or special, but it was definitely something I enjoyed watching and will watch the next few episodes for sure. There were some good moments and it was semi-touching.

Gossip Girl S02E03
Keeps going; stronger and stronger. This was a very satisfying episode. No complaints at all.

90210 S01E04
This show is definitely improving ever since the pilot. I really like Jenny Garth, and the musical aspects. And more Lucille Bluth! I missed her so much in the 3rd episode, glad she's back. I was REALLY digging this episode, especially the beginning. I'm going to stick with this one, likely for the rest of the season.

Do Not Disturb S01E01
Damn you Dave Franco. You're so hot. He's the only real reason I tuned in for this episode; but you know what? It was actually... funny. I laughed out loud twice, and chuckled a bit. Big, big, big improvement over the prior episode. I'll keep watching for a bit. When Dave Franco goes shirtless, I'll pick it up for full.

Do Not Disturb S01E0?
So instead of using the pilot episode, FOX has decided to start the series off with a different episode, presumably episode two or three (in production order, anyway.) It airs in Canada on Mondays, not Wednesdays, so we get it ahead of you (no, this is NOT a review of the leaked pilot, which is a completely different episode.) The big problem is, Do Not Disturb just jumps in to things. There is no set-up; we don't know where they work, or who they are, and they expect us to have a clue. Another problem is Jerry O'Connell. That man can't act, and he especially can't handle comedic roles. He acts just like he did on Carpoolers. Over-the-top, and ridiculous. It's sad to watch. The show itself isn't funny, or clever. It thinks it is, and it's painful. The laugh track is awkward, because you sit there questioning "... Did something funny happen? Was that a joke?" Awful. I don't think I can tune-in to episode two.

True Blood S01E01
A lot of people don't like this. Don't expect Six Feet Under. I enjoyed it, I've been waiting for it for a while. It's fun, and it's 53Xy, and I like how they're dealing with the vampire mythos. It's a new world to explore. It's not perfect, and the pilot feels drawn-out, but I am definitely in this for the long run. It can only get better. Gossip Girl S02E02
I still thought the pilot was a bit better, but just a touch better. This is definitely still in the gold. The plot twist had me smiling, especially with the narration by Kristen Bell. How can you not love this show? It's so... snarky!

I just watched Do Not Disturb. It airs in Canada ahead of the US. They changed the episode from the original pilot. It pretty much jumps right into things, without your typical plot / character set-up. It's sort of like stumbling into a syndicated show you hadn't seen before. It's odd. Who are these people? Where is this place? What is going on? It wasn't funny at all. I didn't smile ONCE, and I sure didn't laugh. The laugh track was REALLY awkward. Just ew. This should be canceled, NOW. DON'T WATCH IT. I don't usually hate everything about a series, but ew. Just ew. EW, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew. Jerry O'Connell can't act, and it's even worse when it comes to his comedic acting. Oh, Dave Franco is supercute. But that's it.
