Hellow....I was doing some work thingy on my pc, done for today, is time to go to bed bc i work in 5:30h, and I`m not that sleepy so I`m here.

1st thx for the comments on the RE farewell, is nice to known that there are still so many old-school lovers of clasic survival/horror games.

Now.... Lets see, I guess I have to say some update....

1. Work good, same blahblha there...

2. I have play some games, almost done with infamous (I know I`m also ashame of myself it has take me a month ), done with obscure (nice game, exc for silly camara), try Resort sport with friends on 2 ocassions for about 1h, nice lil game. I can not wait to get to GS and get Cursed Mountain, the IGN review said old-school horror survival

3. I watch the Ugly Trust, HILLARIOUS... Orphan, nice but too slow (nice twist, make the whole theme special)... and Time Traveler`s wife, good movie, touching (can not compare to book)

4. I realize that I have not wash my car (hush is going to hit me) in around 6 month.

5. Still come here 2-3/week and of course my 1st stop is CUU and check some forums/news. Which made me notice that by the end of the year I would have spend around 500US$ in games. I really should stop buying them until I actually complete all the ones I have

... you were my introduction to horror games, a series that I would always love..

Hellow.. as most of you know from my last blog with the lastest update of my life I had a huge list of games to play, but I stop that this week, and even thus I`, doing a crazy rotation, on the weekend of RE5 and this week, I have being playing as much as my time alouds it. One week later, yesterday, I finished the game.

I do not regulary do reviews but I wanted to share this...

I saw this one coming after RE4, the series has defenetely taken a turn. RE4 had some small horror, some that could even past unnotice... RE5 had none. Every enemy was expected.

The puzzle have being disapearing with each game, but this one had none. (the excecution lvl do NOT have any)

My thought on this was that gaming is evolving and for some reason (sadly, for me) horror, horror/survival is being left behind. But then a game like Dead Space come along and suceed on this. Is still action, but manage to have this "OMFG I`m gone die.. run..run..." the enviroment is dark and make your heart wish it could beat slowing so that your enemies do not hear you.

Resident evil 5 is a GREAT game, do not get me wrong, but as part of the series that I love, that got me into horror is awfull. The lack of any horror element, from the enviroment (exc for 1-2 lvl, e.g. the 1st one iwth the lickers) to the enemies appearance. The absent of any good, or any puzzle at all. The completely straight lvl system, of which we had a glimpse in RE4. Made this game a great action game. My game compare it with uncharted, I have not play that one so i could not say if I agree or not.

Sadly a huge part of this generation (old gamers and new), specially those that are not survival horror or that do not got into the series because of that, like this type more.

So I would not expect RE to go back to horror at least no any time soon and for that I would like to say Thank you for introducing me into horror and given me so many great moments.. and FAREWELL...

That put apart I wanted to say for those fan, the game is great. I would play all (as time aloud) collect my infintive as on every RE game that had that. And the story was OK.

What do you think? A lot of RE old sty/e vs new poll have being made... But, do you agree? (specially if you are a old fan to the series)

Well, I guess is time for my usual updates... so here it is, and as always divided by cathegories...

WOrk/Carrier

As crazy as always... The hospital is quite busy, right now I`m doing a "easy" rotation which give me more time to read/study as well as free time. Before this, I did my ICU rotation and Night Float ICU and I LOVED it. I`m so sure I want to do that for the rest of my life that is ridiculous.

Also on this rotation, I got myself certified in Central Lines Placement, Parecentesis and Arterial Pucture (I`m excited about that )

Sad point.. (kind of..) I did not do so well on one of my exam, so I`m reading and reporting (kind of make me feel bad, like in need of reporting homework. But oh well, is actually good and facilitates/give me a great study program.) My professionalism and care of patients was reconized, so that make it worth it.

My VACATION are coming... well.. "vacation" I`m going back to my country for 2 weeks, and in this time I`ll go to the wedding of my best friend as well as I will go to teh BEACH!!! But the "" are bc I also have to prepare an exam that I have right when I get back and I have a punch of reading to do.

Also while on vacation have to use some time for one of my research project (yea, now I`m doing a research. I know like I do not have enough stuff, but oh well... ) My research is related to ICU (of course) .... *she will not bored you with details*

SO.. yea, that is work/carrier in a nutshell

FUN/GAMING...

Well, 1st do you guys remeber this blog of mine .... Guess what?? We have NEWS about it, that game is still in develope.. STILL AROUND!!!

Now...The list of games that I have pending is ridiculous (read above as why ) and I`m right infront of my entertaiment set, so I have decide to copy the list of pending games (is mostly for me.. but you can see how big is it )

And while doing the list,.... is better to put it in the order of how I want to play this... so.. in order starting with the one I`m playing now to the last one I`ll play:

Dead Space (PS3)... "playing now" GREAT game, I`m around chapt. 4

Baroque (Wii) "now playing" I have never play such a crazy game in my life... LOVE it. I`m glad that I decide to go ahead with this one.

Fallout 3 (PS3) This game is amazing, I just played for about 1h. NEED to finish this one.

Silent Hill Homecomming (PS3) I can not play this game until I manage to finish SH2 and SH3 again, bc there is a lot I do not remember and lets face it in this game all is conected.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary (Wii) This game, everytime I started somethingelse that i liek more comes out and I forget about tihs one...

this is depressing... and to that I`m getting RE5, Deadly Creature, MadWorld, HoD: Overkill, Alone in teh Dark: Inferno, FFCC EoT I think that is all.. Got I hope..

Also fun wise... I got RE: degeneration, that imo: great lil film . As well as dead space (which I ahve not watch bc I got it yesterday )

Also went skiing about 1 month ago.. I LOVE IT This time I fall down quite a few time, but at the end I was even going down the hill without falling
