Last night I picked up Ultimate Quake for the PC for $20.  It's a collection containing Quake, Quake II, and Quake III Arena.  What a good buy.  Quake is just as scary as I remember: dark, gory, and creepy as hell.  I can't get Quake II to work for some reason, but Quake III Arena is baaaaad!  I never got to play it the first time around, and I'm glad I was able to pick it up. The deathmatch only game play is intense and it plays very smoothly.  Making someone ride your rocket in Arena is more fun than even the original Quake multiplayer.
