Last night, I played the Brütal legend demo, and well..it was fantastic. Demos are there to give you a taste of the game and convince you to buy the game, a task this demo filled in splendidly (I pre-ordered long ago anyway though, so nothing short of the demo releasing flesh eating beetles into the house was going to make me reconsider) The graphics are nice and artsy, the camera feels smooth and well placed, the attacks and such are very simple, but very satisfying, and the driving controls which were my biggest concern are very sharp and easy to get used to. The music is great and suits the world very well (Having "Children of The Grave" playing while slaying druids with a broad axe was quite fantastic)I do say if just the linear beginning area was this satisfying to go through the big open world that becomes available afterwards will have my eyes popping out of my skull from the sheer visual splendor. The day October aka Rocktober 13th rolls in, between school and work, this game will be sapping any free time I have to spare.
