Well, just yesterday, I decided to settle down with a night of cod4 with my friends, and I turned on my xbox as usual. The xbox live logo came on fresh, and then I saw the dashboard. What was different however, was the fact that there were large horizontal lines covering almost every inch of the screen, so I decided to restart it. Then, I saw something I thought I would never see....i've finally gotten red ring of death...I've never thought this day would come. Those flashing red lights...error message...!!! I've tried unplugging all the cords, taking out hardrive, etc., and nothing has worked.

Well, whats interesting is, all of my friend's xbox's have been red ringing precisely around this time. My friend's xbox red ringed a couple of months ago, and he sent it in to get fixed. My other friend is currently waiting for his to come back from repairs, and another one of my friends had some kind of disc reader failure and can't play either way. They all seemed to warn me, Kevin, "your next..." Doubtful of course, I was relaxed and did not expect this. I've had my xbox for 2 years without the slightest issue or disturbance. The worse if gotten are a couple of overheating (being stored in an enclosed area). And there couldn't be a better time for this to happen, because Spring Break is in 2 weeks. To add to that, the new Gears update (which I talked about below) is coming, and i'll be missing it while all my friends level up -___-. Does anyone know how long it takes to get your xbox back from repairs?

To make matters even worse, a horrible root canal has been plaguing me for the last few days. The cavity seemed to have gotten out of control, and a piece of my tooth actually broke off...imagine how painful that is. Good news is, I just got treatment for it an hour ago, and really, I cant feel my jaw or my tongue (from the numbing). Its an interesting sensation, really, I could pinch my lips extremely hard and not feel a thing.

So thats it, life could not have been better, but really, i'm not all that dissapointed. Xbox was beginning to be a bore...I guess I just need some new games. I can still use the towel trick to delay it a bit, I guess. Ill be stuck playing Warcraft 3 for the next few weeks.

Well for me I had to send my 360 all the way to Toronto! And I live in Vancouver! Seattle is right next to us! But no! I had to wait a whole month for it! Iono where you live but the closer to Seattle (if u live in US) the faster it is i think. Good luck anywayz. Sucks to get RROD... Hope u got back up consoles or something
