As some of you from my Unions may already know, Last Monday my wife and my oldest daughter and I went to Tampa to see Celtic Thunder. You can get a little more info on them here. They do a mix of traditional Irish songs along with more recent music. Now understand I'm really more of a hard rock - metal fan so usually this wouldn't be something I'd be interested in but when my wife convinced me to check out their DVD I was very impressed. They put on a great show, very entertaining and we had great seats as well, very close to the stage. Needless to say they have most of their songs on youtube as well, check out "Heartland" if you get a chance.
The other news is that yesterday was my birthday. It worked out well since I was going to take the day off of work anyways because I'd be coming home late Monday night from the concert. So I basically slept in and spent the day being a couch potato and playing videogames - a perfect day
Been mostly playing Fallout 3, have put in around 25 hours so far. Definitely feel that any opinions you may have towards Oblivion will apply towards Fallout as well. Certainly some differences but the basic gameplay has many similarities, which is OK by me![]()

Happy birthday dahling!
REGAMER-X - I'll still stick with the "if you like Oblivion" thought. If you enjoyed that then I'm pretty sure you'll like Fallout. It's great exploring the American wasteland fighting mutants!
BigBoss - I'm sure you'll like Fallout but there are so many great maes out right now I don't blame you for waiting.
Inditra - I didn't know you had Irish, Looking at your username I thought you might be from India! Both my wife and I have alot of Irish blood in us and are proud of our Celtic heritage. Hope you get a chance to check them out on Youtube, great music!
Marksman - Those weapons sound intriguing, will keep an eye out for them!
Glad you liked the concert sounds like it was a lot of fun. I have Fallout 3, but haven't cracked it open yet. I've been too busy playing Gears 2 and Call of Duty World at War.
I just bought myself a new gaming chair so I'm gonna play for the rest of the day.
Oh, and Happy B-Day, once again!
N8A - Thanks, the show was great!

Again, I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday! I haven't played Oblivion, but I did enjoy Morrowind. Any game you enjoy is a good way to spend a day off!
Amazing concert, a mix of traditional music along with recent music it'll be a great outcome regardless from which country this music comes from .
Sounds like you spent your Birthday well. Doing what you want to do. Happy Birthday!

nftw - Yeah, I've got to do a better job with posting blogs
hintaki & Anthony - Understandable as now there are so many great games to play all at once! But when you get the chance to spend some time with Fallout you'll enjoy it
Jude - Yeah, if I could win the lottery I could do that every day

That how I'd love to spend my birthday too, so it's all good. How's Fallout 3? I've heard some mixed reviews of it, and not sure if I want to pick it up for not.
