I'm not suicidal, don't jump to conclusions buddy, it relates to what I speak.

I saw a documentry that was on an hour ago and it really got me thinking. Tom Friedman's Adicted to Oil. He was also author of the book "The World is Flat" (facsinating by the way).

Anyways this show really got the gears turning in my head, it showed that there was a huge amount of renewable, cheap, efficent, energy sources we bluntly ignore. Ethonal, Wind, Solar, Green Architecture, Hydrogen and the list keeps going. My question if it's cheaper and better why don't we use this? Ignorance my friend.

Now the name I chose for this blog entry is most fitting because if you think about the US is hooked on oil, where do we get it? Middle East. Now we're fighting a war, in the middle east, so essentially we're funding the opposing side, hence why we can't win. In WWII we bombed supply lines of our enemeies, now we're building them.

I'm now satisfied with that rant and would like to hear your opinions on the suject matter. I find it incredibly interesting that we the US and the modern world for that matter is destroying itself through our need for oil, but that's me. Thoughts?

Interesting statements and facts but is hanging yourself the answear (not like you were serious ) instead make a difference or at least try i think to myself so many people 1 person can change the furture and and most human beings just demand demand where as there are a good percentage that see thing in a brighter light like whats are future gonna be like or what will make the next bing change in life as we know it. And that was my logic trying to be put into a good point and i think i faild but w/e .

Hanging is a metaphor, Buying Gasoline and Oil form our enemy increases our dependce on it, so we are setting ourselves up to destroy ourselves.

well us humans are to stupid to relize the effects of our terrible dicisions, we dont care as long as we make money and we are rich, its all greed's fault, mankind wasnt made to destroy but was made to live with nature.

i wish our leaders would realize this as well. we are making steps in the right direction, but we need someone to really spearhead this movement.
