For a long time now I've been reading magazine articles and a bunch of other crap about how interactive media or (video games) influence a persons behavior.

For instance a man mayplay a video game which hashis charactergo through a scenario where he brutally murders a family in their home (this is just a fictional example). So the next day he decides to go and kill a random family in a similar fashion. First of all this man is obvoiusly a psychopath...he is unable to familiarize the differences between right and wrong, what is socially acceptable and what lines should never be crossed. It may be concluded that this video game influenced him to murder this family but then again the same could be said for any other media or interaction he has had in other aspects of life such as a physical conversation. The previous day a man could have mentioned told him about a murder which also could be concluded as an "influence". Someone influenced by a video game into performing such an action is unstable mentally and could easily be influenced by any simple opinion or song or video game deeming them a bad example when making conclusions, especially negative ones, about an industry or medium as a whole.

Thisis why Ibelieve that every case in which a person said that they had been influenced by a video game, or any other media for that matter be it a book or whatever else, was either telling a bunch of bull or was so mentally unstable that they could not handle, like I said earlier, even a simplebook without it spurring some type insane interior reality. Thiswas dedicatedto all the retards ohh im sorry "experts" that use these extreme cases, such as the Columbine in which Doom was blamed for "negative influence", to define the greatest industry ever to exist in humanity's existence (and by greatest I mean theone that brings politics, entertainment, and every other aspect of life together).

well now that its around the halloween season theres a few new horror movies comin out like saw IV, 30 days of night, and a few games like Jericho. But in my opinion I think the horror genre is dying and needs aomething new and fresh to save because seriously im tired of sequels and remakes they just dont transfer that sense of freshness that they once had. Luckily however, there are some good things going on within the genre like a few games by the name of Condemned, The Darkness, and DeadSpace but this isn't enough and more games should explore this terrifyingly great genre of movies and games. Oh yeah and for anyone who is not farmiliar with the FEAR pc franchise the game is being brought to xbox 360 this October and will be called FEAR files and eeverybody should support this game

are really long video games like final fantasy a better value than games like the short classicshadow of the colossus just by their price to playtime ratio? Hell no, because the game is long and drawn out does mean its better because half of the time I wont even finish thos amazingly long epics about good vs. evil unless the story is just that good. A final fantasy style gameis good every once in a while but i for one need an ICO tobreak things up every once in a while because those short ones that deliver their messages in such a short time and still remain powerful are the true masterpieces

Some people just don't have opinions. Like cashplaya_2009.
cashplaya_2009 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could cashplaya_2009 possibly have for not rating a single film?
