Why do people lurk the Guitar Hero 5 boards just so they can post their opinionated opinion on why, in their opinion, Rock Band is better? (In their opinion)

Why did Capcom make Seth so brutal in Street Fighter IV?

Why do people hate Bing?

Why don't netbook manufacturers realize that many people intend to put Linux on them and don't want to pay for an XP license they won't use?

How did Battlefield 1943 get released with issues like vehicles not being able to drive up hills and griefer-friendly, frustrating allied airplane collision physics?

How long till PAX East arrives?

When will Sony realize that they could charge for their online and people would pay?

Why do I have not one, but two video game ties? (Mario Kart and Sega Genesis)

Why does Splosion Man insult me with its 'Way of the Coward' pop-ups?

What will happen when my 360 RRoDs in the next generation and I don't own the new Xbox?

Why do I end up with more time spent on my handhelds than my console?

Why do people equate colorful graphics (like Wii Sports Resort or The Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker) with a game being 'kiddy'?

People hate Bing because it is owned and run by Microsoft, a convicted monopolist in the computer world that has gotten away with so much unfair maneuvering and price gouging it's a wonder why the government hasn't shut them down already.

This may answer your question right after it. Microsoft can lower the prices of Windows for companies that don't use/install Linux. It's kind of ridiculous how much control they have.

Why do you ask so many questions?

@Aberinkulas Harsh. I actually trust Microsoft more than Google. I've said for years that Google is going to take over the world. While that's a joke, it does intend to become a major part of everyone's life. The ubiquity of its search engine, Chrome, and now a new operating system all worry me slightly.

I didn't mention Windows in business. But it's the standard because it's good. It's compatible, it's stable, and it's not particularly expensive. My issue with Windows on netbooks is due to manufacturers intelligently putting it on as the default operating system. I have no issues with Microsoft here. I would love a blank/Linux operating system because I'm only going to put Ubuntu or Kubuntu on it (heck, maybe even Puppy Linux depending on the computer). But most people do not know or want to learn Linux, and so it stays.

I don't trust anybody but myself. I'm a mav-rick, ya'll!

As far as I can tell, most people I know don't even notice that they're using Ubuntu at my house. It works just as well as anything else; as long as they know "Firefox = Internet" then they're off checking Facebook without nary a pause.

Education is a good step, but to be fair I don't think many people would notice if OEM's actually applied intelligence when installing Linux on their machines. If everything was clearly labeled it wouldn't matter to anyone but the most hardcore power user in Windows. But they messed up those poor netbooks so badly. I mean, "Linpus Lite?" Seriously, people.

Linux would be more popular if OS installations were something most people did. Thank god it's not. Yeesh.

'When will Sony realize that they could charge for their online and people would pay?'

Of course they realize that but by making it free, it obviously gives people more of a reason to choose Playstation over Xbox

Most people are jerks.
Some people at Capcom are jerks.
Anti Microsoft crazies are mostly jerks
I'm running Win7 on my 1005HA and it rocks rather hard. I would have wanted an SSD though.
My Hands are bananas.
Beware of the milky pirate.
I'd pay for online with Sony, but it'd have to be real darn cheap.
I'd be happy to take either tie from your hands (neck) I just mostly have Warner ties.
The developers were jerks
Sadness
Sitting is for suckas join the horizontal revolution!
Because darker games such as GOW are always just tinted shades of grey.
