Hello to you all my friends. It's been quite some time since I blogged, no news from me since my move actually. I've been real busy working in the house and lately I've been busy designing all sorts of things. I'm not forgetting about you, don't fret From the bottom of my heart I'm sending you my very best wishes for 2009 !

It's been cold since November here. Very cold. Actualy it's freezing and we're even having a few inches of snow. Yesterday I walked into town and took the bus back home on a sinuous road surrounded by pinetrees. A truly magnificent scenery, like the ones you see on postcards. It's been years since we had so much snow, not to say decades. The other good thing about is that we are no longer lectured about global warming. Ecologists have their voices frozen, maybe the'll get more talkative the day after

I've been catching up on some games I had to play and movies I wanted to watch. I noticed games were much more innovative than the most recent movies. There's now a trend in Hollywood to readapt sgi-fi movies from the 50's. The end result is quite disappointing because the story is more or less the same, what differs is the (abusive) use of SFX. Personally I find the movies from the 50's were great as they were and they don't need to be modernized. Also I found the last Indy terrible : no script + all SFX = boring. There are just so many new sci-fi ideas that could be made into great movies. Are we living the days when imagination stood still ?

Lastly I've been considering buying a new version of Photoshop since I'm still working with my good old Photoshop 7 version. I guess I'll have to be patient (or get lucky) because the new version is expensive (but it makes me drool with envy ). Don't worry I accept donations Take care my friends, catch you later.

I wonder if there will be a remake of Metropolis with Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler.

As long as there are flying saucers and big explosions

Submarines tackled into the air by sharks which then explode from the impact, bears flying onto the roof of a building to kill some snipers, supermen flipping through the air carrying tanks and slamming them down onto airborne planes, etc..

I want to see another Riddick movie. Make it more like Pitch Black though and less like Chronicles. Have it be a smaller struggle for Riddick. More one on one style instead of Riddick vs. an entire freaking race.
