Because of the death of his beloved grandmother, today will be a bittersweet day if Obama does win. I really feel he wants to make a difference and that he DOES want to accomplish a great deal if or when he takes office. I am glad he didn't stoop to the level John McCain did....all McCain and Palin did was attack him, while barely pointing out what THEY were going to do to change what is wrong with America. I don't see how people can expect ANYONE to be prepared to be President. It's not like there's a class called "How to Be a President: 101". lol
I think Obama has been nothing but honest with people, and has tried to get them to look forward instead of backward and I think it is sad that most would rather listen to the negative rhetoric (from people like Elisabeth Hasselbeck and FOX, etc.) I am most afraid that he will not be allowed to have a chance to prove how capable he is....and that would be the worst shame of all.

Glad he is STILL around to ring in the New Year with all of us....
I watched him for years on American Bandstand...and for years enjoyed seeing his telecasts from Times Square on New Year's Eve....amidst ALL those people! lol

Even with his stroke, he still has the same spirit he has always had. He truly is an institution..

From Michael Easton to David Gauthier to Trevor St. John to her current leading man, David Fumero, she seems to have an effortless chemistry with anyone she's paired with. She even plays off her female cast members with aplomb....prime example: Hilary B. Smith's "Nora". Her screen presence is only enhanced by her beauty and her ability to do both drama and comedy with the ease of butter melting on a hot summer day.
And to think....a couple years ago, I had stopped watching this show altogether. Both Renee AND Evangeline have made it a reason to come BACK.

Unfortunately, I have seen little to NO respect given to his vast body of work, especially for his current role on "One Life to Live"...and personally, I think that's pretty horrible. I have seen nothing but criticism of his portrayal, and it is constant, relentless and unwavering. And no matter WHAT anyone says "in his defense", it's pretty much ignored. If it's "just a show", there's no need for such vehemence, some of which I have also seen directed at the actor himself.

I think they put the portrayal of an older but not wiser Jessica in good hands when they hired Bree Williamson. That she went from Cristian to his older brother Antonio made sense as well. I enjoyed her scenes with Erika Slezak and glad they addressed the fact that their DID went from mother to daughter. Now that Jessica has put her \"demons\" to rest, I would like to see her move FORWARD...not backwards into what are more \"Tess\'s\" wishes not her own. Her \"fling\" with Nash was cute....but the baby is only Nash\'s due to \"Tess\'s\" blatant disregard for using protection. I would like to see her with a little more of \"Tess\'s\" attitude while at the same time, retaining Jessica\'s respect and love for her family. \"Tess\" may be a fun character but that is NOT all Jessica cares about. \"Tess\" should allow her to have a future with her HUSBAND, not with the man \"Tess\" chose.
Kamar de los Reyes and she also seem to enjoy working together.
Despite what I have heard, I hope the writers will allow Jessica to grow with Antonio, the man who has loved and supported her throughout her entire ordeal.

candozier must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could candozier possibly have for not rating a single film?
