Big big Super Bowl XLII upset by the Giants. I was completely surprised by this. I was for the Giants (I'm an underdog person), but I sort of "knew" that the Patriots would win, which I was wrong. When Manning threw the last pass to Burress, I knocked over my desk lamp because I was jumping and screaming in excitement. Tom Brady did surprisingly bad in this game, for he wasn't the "playmaker" with many sacks. The Patriots had a great season, but good job Giants. It's Manning Time. How great would it be if Peyton/Eli played each other in the Super Bowl next year? That would be amazing.

My favorite commercial this year would have to be the one where some guys pierced his nipples with electrical wires and danced to "Push It". Actually no, thats second. My favorite is the Part 2 of the Foreign Language class commercial by Carlos Mencia. They're in a bar and they use their accents to impress the women. It is absolutely hilarious. This yeras commericlas were great, though I believe no commercial can beat the Axe Murderer one last year. That one was genius.

I've recently became obsessed with Fatboy Slim a lot. I suggest everyone listen to him! Great turntablism. Everyone should listen to "The Rockafeller Skank", "Right Here, Right Now", "Ya Mama", and "Weapon of Choice". Great songs.

These are the top 8 things I can't wait for for 2008.

8. Survivor Micronesia: Fans Versus Favorites - Nothing like some good ol' favorites making a comeback. I will cheer for James, Ozzy, and Jonathan for the favorites side, and Jason is my favorte fan to win. I definitely believe this will be a great season. The fans seem very likeable from what I've seen and it's just great to see some good ol' people all over again.

7. Speed Racer - Any movie made by the Wachowski Brothers deserves my attention. I love the cast and I love the original show. The animation and effects look absolutely stunning and will definitely entertain me. I find it so coincidental how much Emile Hirsch looks exactly like Speed.

6. Super Bowl XLII - I find it quite interesting how coming up on January 13th, my teams the San Diego Chargers and the Indiannapolis Colts are going to go head-to-head. Not exactly what I wished for for my two favorites to compete, but that's life. I await the winner, and I'm sure that whoever wills will carry on to win the Super Bowl. Tomlinson and Manning are great. The number one question is this: Will the Patriots make the Super Bowl, or will their perfect record be a waste?

5. Scrubs Series Finale - Curse you oh Writers Strike! I did not watch this series since season 1 just to see the middle of season 7 be the series finale. Pay them and finish the season already. Season 7 has been great so far with JD's baby being born and the breaking up of Kim/JD and Elliot/Keith. It gave my JD/Elliot shipperness happiness when they both realized they didn't love their current significant others. This season is definitely exciting for me, for we find out that since Kelso is 65, meaning he must retire and foreshadowing of the finale. My predictions of the intended and real series finale if done correctly is: JD/Elliot should be happy together and finally commit to each other, the finale subplot will revolve around Kelso's retirement and how everyone loves him, Turk/Carla will celebrate their marriage and first birthday of their girl, and Cox will be the Chief of Medicine.

4. The Lunar Eclipse – I just can't wait for it to happen in February. I love observing the sky and its wonders.

3. 2008 Elections – Obama deserves to be America's next president, no doubt. I haven't loved a democrat as much as I loved him. I wholeheartedly agree with ALL of his views and I pray that he will win. He deserved to win at Iowa, and I hope that he wins the Preliminaries. I have no opinion about the Republican side, for I don't pay much attention to him.

2. The Dark Night - This is going to be a great sequel. With Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer, I have no doubt that this movie will be great. Christian Bale will once again pull off Batman as well as he did last year helping Lieutenant Gordon and Gotham, but what I'm excited for is Heath Ledger as The Joker. I question how well he will pull this off, but I believe he will.

1. 2008 Beijing Olympics - Its name speaks for itself. How can you not be excited for it?

2008 will be a great year.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like c0mm0nsense.
c0mm0nsense must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could c0mm0nsense possibly have for not rating a single film?
