To start off I love fighting games especially Street Fighter IV. Just the way the game flows and the controls are so tight makes it a very enjoyable experience. One thing though that I found to be frustrating (not anymore though) was the AI's ability to counter all of my moves on the fourth stage of Arcade mode. While some of you may say: "Well...that's kinda what it's supposed to do.", let me say this: IT WAS ON VERY EASY! Now I'm no nub at fighters, but it had been quite a while since I played any street fighter game for an extended period of time and I wanted to get back in my "groove" so I set it on the lowest difficulty for a quick run through.
The fourth match is where the game's difficulty crapped out: Chun-Li (Me) vs. M. Bison (AI):
I start out by jumping to the computer with a high kick in place in case it tries the same thing, however, Bison does a gliding low kick and ends up on the opposite side of where I'm standing. I think to myself "No biggie." so I do a spinning kick tht moves me to his location to my surpise he blocks it. (At this point im getting upset because we are still at a stalemate) Bison is backed into a corner so I unleash a flurry of kicks, but what's this -_-; he blocked them again. He then follows up by tripping me with another low kick. When I recover myself he pushes me back on the ground with a punch that causes his fist to glow purple. (My health is at 3/4 at this point) I do a low kick myself and trip him however he recovers as well and puts me to shame by spamming (yes the AI spammed) multiple low kicks while I was trapped in a corner. Jumping proved futile as I could not due to the frequent nature of these "tripping kicks". My health drained in a spectacular fashion as I watched in disbelief.
Of course now I'm better and have most of the characters unlocked save for Gouken and Seth. I've still yet to beat Arcade on Normal, but unlike failing previously to Very Easy this is due to my lack of time. Besides I like PvP a whole lot better
