Yes my fellow gamespot friends I will be leaving the carribbean to go to England, I will be studying and working there for the next five years of my life. This was the idea of my British girl friend who misses her home land. I guess I will still be on gamespot but now I will be seeing the U.K version of gamespot, but no need to worry my American friends I will still be on the U.S net working provider to give you all my feed back on my travel to Europe.

I have many great plans for my future in Europe and hope to come up with great ideas for all my fellow friends at the U.S gamespot. It was a great pleasure taking part of a great community such as this one. If there is anyone whois interested in knowing what game events they have here, I am willing to do a research for them for free. All you have to do is explain what you wanna see i.e a Bristish car show, or a British game event and anything you can think of. Then I check it out and keep you updated as soon as possible in a private message in your gamespot account.

Oh and if you are a British national who is willing to share your opinions please do so as well. I would really like to get some advice on different things to see and do in London. This will be my first time going to London and any type of good adviceor information would be useful to me. Thanks and may you have a good one aye.

I want to go check out this M festival LAN party that they have in the U.K, at this festival they say it's U.K's Largest LAN party. And everyone knows I am gonna be playing for prizes up in there people.

Well I guess that's it for now peeps, let me know how you feel or think about this and I will be blogin it out with y'all. Peace man.

Yes the caribbean is a lovely tropical place to live in, they are many nice beaches and hotels. They also have their own unique lay back life style, which is very interesting for those who come from high complex back grounds of the big cities around the world. I would encourage anyone to come and travel to any of the wonderful caribbean islands.

good for you, businessfox!
I, sadly, live in Texas.
Nothing exciting here, besides national(and by that I mean "for texas") pride.

wow I am from the south of England. I never knew there was a big LAN party, never heard of it myself. But if you want to check out something awesome then you have to go to GamesDay which is hosted by Games Workshop. By far the best and only show to go to !

Have a great trip. Remember to bring an umbrella! It rains a lot there, I hear.
Posted Aug 21, 2009 2:39 pm PT
Well.. I'm new to your profile... so, I'm a little indifferent to your move. But I wish you a safe journey there

I've never been that way myself, but my wife has. Her parents are from Scotland, and they have family in England.

have a nice time in London, make sure you watch the Barclay's England Premier League, best football league in europe
Posted Aug 22, 2009 3:32 am PT
I went there when I was 12 saw lots of things. Don't really recommend any of them I hate London to be honest. EDIT: Just remembered games are WAY cheaper over there then in New Zealand Where I'm at. And it's the same region coding as well. I bought about 10 PS2 games when I was there average around 7 pounds. Which was only roughly $19 NZ. Those games at the time in NZ were around $35 - $70

Enjoy your time in the UK.

the text is hurting my eyes. Please switch it back to white. Anyways, you'll find pretty quickly that any sort of attractions in London are completely overated. If you can actually get out to some of the towns around you like Exiter or even the small towns like Sidmouth etc. etc. They're great to walk around. Not to mention that the food is actually pretty good there--especially at the bakeries. Oh, don't go eat at the Hard Rock. You'll pay an unbelievable amount for an incredibly bland burger... but if that's what you like then. *sigh* It's a great country--although you'll have to ask someone else about living in it.

oh, don't forget to whatch a good 'football' game there. They're quite fun--much more interesting then football here in the states.
Posted Aug 22, 2009 9:19 am PT
Thats awesome, you should go on The London Eye that thing looks sweet.

ok, good luck there, i just been there and the people is quite interesting, they are rude, they are polite, both extremes, and you can't do anything at all on the streets, no walking, no smoking, no spitting, lol, joking, its a nice place and hopefully you'll like it

You're probably going to hate the weather here
Posted Aug 24, 2009 9:16 am PT
Hey! I live really close to glorious London, like 40 miles away. Its a interesting city, depending on where your staying in the place depends on your experience there. As i live in the countryside you can tell if your in London by the graffitti haha lots of it! Good public transport though gets you where you need to go pretty decent. But as i saw on a previous post people can be polite and very rude, they keep themselves to themselves. But be careful about all these attractions they will rip you off very well, as will most places touristy. Good place though! I hope you have fun there, i usually go a few times a year.
