Well I'm sure someone was wondering how my date went so I'll tell you. Since it was the first date I'd ever been on it was both the best and worst date I'd ever had.

I got to the movie theatre that we were going to see 9 at a few minutes early and waited out in front of the ticket booth. in the theatre I told my share of jokes and relaxed; she did the age old girl thing of texting (if I ever find out who invented texting I'm going to punch them in the larynx. I have suspicion to believe that she was nervous since she was hyperventilating (which made me rather uncomfortable). While we watched 9 I sat there picking apart all the errors in logic the consumed the movies very flawed plot (not a bad movie but there's so many 'why didn't they just' moments).

After the movie we decided to take a stroll through the mall. When I get nervous, angry or uncomfortable I generally get cynical so I was at the peak of smartassdom. We walked into gamestop and talked about games. She has a wii (I don't hate her for it though). Another moment made me uncomfortable was when I caught her scratch her belly in the store in a very unladylike manner.

Before venturing out into the blazing sun we decided to have a romantic lunch of A&W (worst meal I'd ever spent money on). Just for the record it was the place she wanted to eat at. I complained about the food while discussing life's little intricacies with her; she was laughing her butt off.

We traveled over to a petsmart and looked at all the cute animals that were in the place. Few went to a bestbuy after that to look at all the nice things I couldn't afford. Since she has a full time job she was more than lucky but facts remain the same. I got close to her but didn't get to kiss her (something that would've made it a great date).

Finally we went into a bed bath and beyond because I'm cool like that walked around for a bit before I had to get ready for work. I was sore afterward but unkissed to my displeasure. Lets recap

Pro: likes me, got out of the house, got closer to her, finding a Christian girl in my area is hard

Cons: no kiss, belly scratch, hyperventilating, crappy lunch, she already has a boyfriend, no kiss, friendly but unwelcome jabs and shoves at me, no kiss,

Verdict: I'll probably go out with her one more time, but I don't think we're going steady.

In unrelated news I think I'm going to ask a co worker out. That will take courage but what the hay (she too has a boyfriend unfortunately). Do all girls have freaking BFs?
