Unless you are darn good at repressing memories, don't watch this movie at all. The plot is boring and predictable and paper-thin, and there are no laughs to be had. At perhaps one, or maybe even two points, you may find yourself one the very beginning of the border of a chuckle or smile, but it is quickly distinguished by a reminder of why the film's writers should never work again. The plot moves along with the pace of a snail, if you even notice they tried to fake a plot at all. The lack of action will leave kids whining or sleeping, and the utter stupidity will have parents banging their heads against a wall, wishing they could get their money back.

Listen to one song. Just one is all it takes before the intelligent listener with an attuned ear is blown away and drawn in to this cornucopia of original talent. Mixing the classical-style music of the cello with rock, and perhaps a little electronic throughout, Rasputina refuses to be categorized in any one genre. They are stunningly unlike anything else, which is exactly what the musical world needs. From their beautiful historical costumes worn when performing to their beautiful and story-telling lyrics, Rasputina's music is more than just a refreshing and entrancing delight for the ears. No other band is like Rasputina, and no other band can compare. The sounds are beautiful, and I can truly find no other way to properly describe it other than enthralling and entrancing. They definitely deserve your time.
