Back form Italy + top 50 characters : nr. 45

Hey all

I'm back from my holiday in Italy. It was freakin hot but still fun I shall continue my top 50 today with nr 45

Spyro the dragon ( the Spyro series)

Who hasn't heard of the adorable Spyro , the purple dragon who has stole my heart from the first game. Although the recent spyro games aren't as good as the first , spyro is still one of the most famous game characters and deserves his spot in this list.

top 50 game characters: nr.46

hey all

today it's time for another character in the list , as I said in my previous post , it is a well known Nintendo Character and it's not mario. So here's nr 46

Bowser ( mario series , smash bros brawl and more )

okay so it's Bowser , Nintendo's über villain and he sure deserves his spot in this list. How many times did he kidnap Princes Peach and giving Mario a hard time trying to rescue the princess. He is also know as the king of the Koopa's. Always trying to get his hands on Mushroom Kingdom , Bowser is a greatantogonist and deserves his place in this list on nr 46

top 50 game characters : nr 47

hey all

today I unveal number 47 in my list , in other news I have finally bought DBZ Burst limit friday and it's quite good. I haven't got the chance to play it much , because of my exams but I'm finishing today and I suspect I will play the living hell out of it . But for now here's number 47 :

Siegfried ( Soul Calibur series)

So Siegfried it is , how can you not say that this guy is awesome , look at his armor and the gigantic sword I was not so familiar to Soul Calibur but since I've seen screens from SC IV from Siegfried , I had a woow feeling when I saw him. He's one of the coolest characters in fighter games that's why he's listed as nr. 47 in my list.

Next time I will continue with nr 46 and I shall give a hint : It's a well known Nintendo Character ( no it's not mario

Batman & Robin

today is the day, the day that I sat down and dared to watch the god awfull movie that is known as Batman and Robin. And I came to the conclusion that this movie was worse than I expected. So time to start the review of Batman and Robin.

First off all , this movie is bad , really bad. This movie has some of the worst one-liners in the history of filmmaking most of the scenes are really stupid. For example, There is a scene where Bane " disguises" himself. He just wears a freakin raincoat and nobody recognises him. Or the part where Freeze got Batman cornered and he just says " I kill you later". Why didn't you just killed him there.???????

Secondly there are the actors. George "nespresso" Clooney plays Batman and is easily the worst Batman ever. He like never tries to act and is one of the many explinations why I hate this film so much. Chris O Donnel reprises his role as Robin and is like in the previous movie not good. Then we have Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr freeze. His character is just plain stupdi and Arnie doesn't really help with his acting. The only thing he talks about is ice. And yes , it is as stupid as it sounds. And why the hell did they cast Schwarzenegger as Mr freeze? If you had such a big budget , why don't you cast a good actor like Kevin Spacey? And ofcourse there is Poison Ivy who is played by Uma Thurman. She actually acts ok and prevents the film from getting a 1.5 ranking. Other roles are Bane whose actor I will not mention ,because he doesn't act and just doesn't speak in the entire movie and Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl. The story is full of plotholes and just plain stupid. Basicly ,Freeze wants to freeze Gotham and the world and Batman and Robin must stop him. Along the way , the two argue and fight for Poison Ivy and that's about all. Oh yeah , Alfred gets sick and Alfred's niece from londen visits and eventually becomes Batgirl. Ofcourse the movie ends with a happy ending.

So in short, this movie is one of the biggest pieces of s**t that is ever made and I strongly advice everyone to avoid this film by all means necessairy.

Batman Returns

First some background information. Batman returns was released in 1992 and is once again directed by Tim Burton. Burton first didn't want to do this movie but with a few adaptations to the script, he said yes to his second and last Batman movie. To please Burton , the characters of Robin and Harvey dent were dropped from the script. That was for me a good thing, because I don't think that Robin was going to fit in the Burton movies. So let's jump to the acting and actors. Micheal Keaton is once again great in his role of Batman and just like in the first movie, he acts very good and makes a fine Batman/Bruce Wayne. So no complaints there. Next up is Danny DeVito as the Penguin. DeVito is just great in his role of the psychopatic Penguin and he plays the character in a certain way that you are disgusted by his appearance ,but you can't help to feel sorry for him. You just can't deny that the character was in some strange way just made for him. So in short , DeVito acts great and is one of the greatest villains in the series. The writers dropped Vicky Vale and made a new female lead character. Michelle Pfeiffer plays Catwoman and puts down a solid performance. i gotta admit that from all the lead actors , i find her the least good, but thats probably because I don't like the character of Catwoman that much. At least she did better than Hale Berry in one of the baddest movies ever: Catwoman! And last , but not least , there is Christopher Walken as Max Shreck. I really like Walken in this role, his character is just the typical bad guy but at the end of the movie we see some father love from him which is in my eyes some great character development. So it's safe to say that Walken puts down a good performance in this movie. Micheal Gough and Pat Hingle reprises their roles as Alfred and Commissioner Gordon.

So the last thing i'm going to discuss is the story. The story is one of revenge, manipulation and sometimes has a romantic story. I can also say that this movie is really dark , perhaps to dark for kids. When the Penguin is left in the sewers by his parents, he is kinda adopted by penguins. Years later he returns and has one heck of a diabolical plan. He wants to murder all the first born kids in Gotham by drowning them in toxic waste produced by the director of a major coorporation ,Max Shreck. Shreck meets the penguin and he wants to make him mayor , to build his power plant to suck up all of Gothams energy. His secretary finds out his plan and Shreck attempts to kill her. It fails and she returns as Catwoman. Batman has to fight Catwoman and the Penguin and that is like the story in short. What i also like about the story is the open ending. So in short, Batman returns is a decent movie , but is maybe a bit to dark. But in the end this is a great movie and a must see for Batman fans or just movie lovers.

sit back and enjoy this review of batman.

When I first saw this movie , I was around the age of 7. My mom rented the movie for me and so I sat down and watched. I don't recall much of ideas on the movie , but I knew I was didn't finish it and didn't liked it that much. Now we're 10 years later and since I bought the batman collection, I decided to watch it again and review it here in my blog. i'm gonna start with some background information on the movie. It was released in 1989 and was well recieved by critics and the audience. It had several award nominations and so you can say that the movie was a great succes. Tim Burton directed the movie. You may know him from other great movies like Edward Scissorhands , Sleepy hollow , sweeny todd and many more. That alone was for me a reason to watch the movie.

Now for the actors, lets start with the actor who plays Batman/Bruce Wayne. There were several actors who auditioned for the role of Batman, including Pierce Brosnan, Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner. But eventually Burton choose Micheal Keaton for the role of Batman. Keatons performance in this movie is really great, he has this kind of charisma and for me he is the second best Batman, after Christian Bale. For the role of the Joker, they chose Jack Nicholson. Nicholson is really really good as the Joker. His version of the joker is absolutely awesome. The character has this kind of crazy thing about him that you can't do anything else than love him. I also like the dark humor of the character.Then you have the female lead role, Vicky Vale , played by Kim Basinger. She does a pretty good job and it is a shame that she isn't brought back in the sequel.And last you have Robert Wuhl , who plays Knox. Personally, I didn't like the character of Knox, i see him as one of the minor bad things about the movie. Other actors are Micheal Gough as Alfred , Billy Dee Wiliams as Harvey Dent and Pat Hingle as Commissioner Gordon.

The story is one about revenge. The movie begins with two thiefs robbing a family in a dark back alley. They get their money and escape. One of the thiefs starts talking about a bat who fights crime. Shortly after that, Batman appears and teaches the thiefs a lesson. The introduction of batman is well done and looks nice. After that, you see that the maffia is bribing the police and we meet Jack Napier. He is sleeping with his wife's boss. As you can guess, Grissom , his boss, doesn't like that. So he sends Jack on a mission and later rats him out. In a struggle with Batman , he is wounded by Batman and falls into a crate of toxic waste. He survives, but is horribely scarred and he seeks revenge on the man who did that to him. Batman. He also has this plan to poison and kill all of Gotham City and he eventually falls in love with Vicky Vale , which is ofcourse not mutual. Vicky Vale and Knox are trying to make an article about Batman, which no one believes in. She meets the rich bachelor Bruce Wayne and eventually discovers that he is Batman. I won't tell more about the story, cause I don't want to spoil anything. But a minor thing that I noticed. I find that the movie is more about the Joker than about Batman. He is most of the time on the screen and that is just a minor thing that I didn't liked that much.

But overall this is a great movie and the dark tone makes this movie more a movie for adults.
