The title got you interested didnt it? Well believe me its somewhat true. I find gamespot just not that great anymore, its been what? a year or two since i've consistantly been here? Well iapologize for all he unions i am (prob was now) a officer of. I just think since the mass exodus of all the editors of Gamespot it just isnt the same. Instead i have moved to gametrailers (not giantbomb mind you) although i just dont do anything there yet, lol.

I dont know how many of you are watching the new fable. I kno i am Oct 21st is def marked on the calender, i cant wait. The game seems to be doing so many innovative things its overwhelming. The indepth nature of the choices you make is amazing. One of the coolest new features of the game isnt rly on the game disk. Its the XBox Live Arcade title "Fable 2: Pub Games" which was released earlier in the year, it containts 3 chance type gambling games that you can play for Fable 2 money that can then be transfered to the game when it comes out. Well almost instantly some guy on youtube found a cheat on one of the card games that doubles your bet AFTER you make it. So for example you only lose 150 but if you win you get the money as if you bet 1500. It racks up gold extremelly fast. Most people saw this and instantly thought it was an error of the developer and was going to be elminated (which it now is.) However, Designer of Fable, Peter Molyneux said in an interview that it was in fact not and accident and that gamers who used the cheat will have a suprise waiting for them when they pop in the disk. This is absolutly amazing, and something i have never seen before. Here Peter bridged the gap between reality and virtual reality and made you make a real life decision that you made for the game and didnt even know it. Most of the time when we play a decision-oriented game we expect there to be desisions and can generally see the difference. Kill the good guy or save the good guy. But instead we make a decision in real life. Are we going to be good and fair and play the game how its supposed to be played? or cheat? After all it was a "mistake."

This in my opinion will indefinatly change the face of reality gaming altogether. However, where do we cross the line between games and reality? We are already pretty close to photorealism and now we are having games that give you real life decisions that will be brought over in games as well as games that put you in the shoes of the protaganist of the game in a very real and tangible way. Where is the line between the two spectrums though? Will we have full on virtualy reality in the next gen? and how far will this bridge between the realities go? Will eventually the game know how many old ladies you helped across the street. Or will it eventually kno that if in one game your evil it will carry over in another? it is definatly something to ponder.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like brhisawsome.
brhisawsome must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could brhisawsome possibly have for not rating a single film?
