Made several new game purchases recently.
I'm getting back in touch with my PC side. Last night was the first time in a long I decided to sit down an own a 2Fort server on Team Fortress 2. I had a good engineer night and topped a couple of my personal records. :-) It's good to geek out now and again. Although I stayed up WAY too late. I'm very tired today.
Anyway, I also bought the PC version of Mass Effect for $19.99 off of Steam and downloaded it overnight. It's ended up being one of my favorite games of all time when I played it back on the Xbox 360 and I've always meant to play through it again but never got around to it. Well, it's looking like I'm leaning towards selling my 360, so I'll be picking up the PC version of Mass Effect 2 when it comes out. That said, I was excited about the prospect of having my saved game information carry over to Mass Effect 2. On top of that, the reviews for the PC version of Mass Effect were very positive, even better than the 360 version, so I'd always wanted to play it. So now by caving in and getting the PC version, I can satisfy my desire to play through it again, get to experience the PC version, and have another play-through to transfer to Mass Effect 2 when it comes out all at the same time. Woo.
I also picked up Torchlight while it was on pre-sale. It's definitely a pretty fun game. I've got a lot of games in-progress right now so I'm not sure how much time I'll be immediately putting into it, but it shows signs of becoming very addictive very quickly. Very Diablo-esque as expected, but just tons of fun. Loot everywhere. I'm enjoying my time as an Alchemist leveling up and conjuring minions. I definitely want to make sure I get some quality hours in on it if for no other reason than the news revealed on TOTS that it'll be eventually converted to an MMO. An MMO version of that game would be a great time, and I want to be well-versed on it when that time comes.
Slow progress on Dead Space, but progress nonetheless. I've been leaving my PS3 at my friend's house for a little bit so I don't play it until I go there (though I'm there every day), but only for an hour at a time or so. As of yesterday, I'm now at chapter 8 of 12, but stopped playing again due to the World Series game. Priorities, you know? Regardless, I've enjoyed the experience so much that I've decided to keep it from Gamefly. I'm going to want to play through this one again sometime and get a few more trophies. It's truly a survival horror game that puts Resident Evil to shame, in my opinion. Most effective atmosphere of any game I've played to date.
Too many games coming out soon and not enough money. I definitely want to get MW2 right away and I can't help but get excited about Dragon Age now. I still haven't played Borderlands or Demon's Souls. I also recently rediscovered an appreciation for my DS which has only muddied up my gaming situation. SO LITTLE TIME.

@luc11044 That's another one! I've had Fallout 3 on my computer forever now and haven't sat down with it for a deserved amount of time. GAH
@Aberinkulas Luckily it's a cheap little game, too. When games like Trine cost $20, it makes Torchlight look like an incredible value.
