My name is Elaine and Im Black. I like all kinds of people and I have a white best friend and a black best friend and eveyone else are just my friends. I have "friends" that say that Im act white but where I live you can't tell some black people anything and that in my mind isn't right. So, I have more white friends than black friends and my dad told me there isn't nothing wrong with that. I don't have a problem of who I am, but my so called "friends" say that Im acting white and talking white and everything I do is white. They say that because I listen to Rock N Roll more than Rap and R&B and I dress different, cause I wear ACDC shirts and things like that. My true friends say that I different and I know that, but that is who I am and I don't want to change that. Im really funny and great to be around, but people have a problem with that. I don't think I need to change to fit in better with my race. Do you think I should change who I am to fit in better???
