Warcraft has dominated my gaming schedule yet again... I seriously can not get enough of that game.. so awesome. Anyway I'm just enjoying a slow Friday at work and looking forward to the Super Bowl on sunday. Oh yeah, speaking of Super Bowl.... My uncle Gary works with a guy who knows a guy that is part of the Denver Bronco's organization. This fellow gets two super bowl tickets for free, apparently because he is part of the team. So anyway his deal was that if the Broncos were to beat Pittsburgh and go to the super bowl he was going to go to the game, but otherwise he was just going to sell them. As we all know, the steelers won and the tickets ended up getting sold to my uncle Gary. So now the plan is that Gary and Bob (my other uncle) are going to the game. But wait! Gary thinks he might now want to go for whatever reason so my Dad jumps the opportunity and offers him $600 for a ticket. This all took place about a week ago. I find out yesterday that my aunt Karen nixed any plans by selling the tickets to an independent broker for $1000 a piece. So she made $400 per ticket, as they only paid $600. So basically now my Dad, and especially my uncle Bob are pissed at Karen for ditching the tickets. Even I have a reason to be ticked at her too -- my dad tells me today that if he would have gotten the ticket then he would have given it to me as an early birthday present..... so yeah I could be going to the super bowl with my uncle Bob.... memories to last forever, once in a lifetime opportunity, but instead my aunt Karen is now $800 richer....kinda sucks.
Gaming front is the same. World of Warcraft dominates. Macehayabusa is up to 40 now (got my mount) and Vergilsparda is up to 16. Mundus sits in last place with a 9.
Thats what I was called at work today; the yo-yo. I suppose it is appropriate though, since my schedule has changed a lot lately. First it was 3-12, always had been. Then Jeff gets this magnificent idea to fix our problems! By that I of course mean terrible idea that doesn't fix any problem. I wont go into detail but it involved me coming in at 5 and working til 1:30. Which isnt terrible or anything but the adjustment took some time. So anyway after I get adjusted to that schedule Cheryl tells me that Carol is going on vacation next week and they are going to need me to come in at noon and work til 8:30. So basically I went from 3-12 to 5-1:30 to 12-8:30 in a matter of about 2 weeks. All I can hope for is that it earned me some brownie points because I sure as hell didn't get anything extra for it.
Anywho, on to the games! Right now my world is being ruled by Call of Duty 2 (X360), Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition (PS2) and of course World of Warcraft. I have also meant to start playing Project Gotham Racing 3 again but it just keeps slipping my mind. Im up to level 39 with Mace, 14 with Vergil, and 9 with Mundus. My plan is to play as Vergil and Mundus for a while so my buddy Baak can catch up to Mace. (I think he's at 36 now) I desperately want to get Mundus up to level 11 or 12 so I can move him to the crossroads and I want to get Vergil up to about 17 or 18 so I can start making Wailing Caverns runs with him. I LOVE the fact that magi can conjure food and drink. I also love the fact that you will barely get touched as a mage thanks to the insane damage your spells cause. ![]()
Back to work....
Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition has hit storeshelves and more importantly my ps2, and lets just say im not dissapointed. I'll likely be playing it all night tonight. You know one thing that is kind of messed up though? Im super excited about the game but a thought that i just cant shake is that ill be earning rested status all this time on my World of Warcraft characters. hehe that game is truly one of the best I have ever played.
I also have another character I'd like to add to The Untouchables -- Sephiroth, of Final Fantasy 7 and Kingdom Hearts fame, a true badass and very intimidating.
