It's time for a regular update. Today my Warped Tour ticket came in the mail. So I've just been staring at it waiting for July 14th to come around. I'm not for sure if I talked about this or not but my cousin Ian actually got me some stuff for my graduation. He got me a Reel Big Fish poster and bumper sticker. Both are totally awesome! The bumper sticker is already on my truck and the poster is on the wall. This was the most thoughtful gift compared to everything else I got. He really put some thought into it. Here is what they look like.

Bumper sticker

Here is the poster up on my wall.

So thank you Ian!

I also forgot to mention I got a Samsung 37 inch 1080P LCD HDTV for graduation. It's awesome! I'll post a picture up of it when it's not dark in my room. Here is a stock photo of what it looks like.

Also I just wanted to say Nos is addictive! Go try some.

PS: Warped Tour is only 11 days away!

Game: Bulletproof Monk

As gamers know there will always be liscends crap flooding the system. This was one of those quick film cash-ins. Luckly some god heard every gamer scream to the heavens and then it actually got canned. To be honest this is what really happened. British developers Mucky Foot Productions closed its doors and with its closing Bulletproof Monk went away with them. Empire Interactive (The publisher) was still very serious about making the game. They intended to release the game in Q1 2004. As you can see that never happened. Empire Interactive went on to make hits such as Stranger for PC and Jacka** The Game for DS...yeah... So that leaves us with Bulletproof Monk canned and us spared another lousy film to game adaption.

Here is the trailer.

PS: Note/Update: There was an update on the whole Treyarch bashing Gearbox. Apparently it was actually someone from Activision who talked trash. Treyarch also sent out an apology. To read my last blog click the link. http://www.gamespot.com/users/bojocon40/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25458418 .

EDIT: "Update: The friendly mudslinging was originally and inaccurately attributed to a Treyarch senior producer, but is actually employed at Activision as senior producer."

Also aparently Treyarch sent out an apology to Gearbox. It said "We want to let everyone know that we found those remarks offensive, and they do not in any way represent the feelings of any developer at this studio or at Activision. We hold all of our peers in the development community in the highest regard. We have nothing but respect for the guys and gals at Gearbox."

Now that this cluster f*** is over I'm off to go watch Tokyo Drift...

--------------------------

Original blog post.

Every once in awhile a developer will spit fire and not think. That's what Noah Heller senior producer for Call Of Duty: World At War did. Noah Heller called out Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway and Gearbox Software by saying "I watched the trailer and I'm was like 'These guys aren't even in the same league." Those are fighting words in my book. Noah even went as far to rub more salt in the wounds by saying "They're not a game we even think about when we're playing, we think about the best shooters, we play [Call of Duty 4] Modern Warfare, we play... Gears of War, we play Halo, you know, that's the competition. We want to look at the games that do great storytelling." Ok hold the phone for a second...Your saying Gears Of War had "great storytelling". Great gameplay sure but storytelling? Then just when you think Noah Heller can't go any lower...he does. He ends up saying "We don't want to look at someone who's just making a crappy war game." Treyarch do you remember when you made Call Of Duty 3? Now that game was crappy. So Treyarch I suggest you go crawl in a hole and don't come out and talk for awhile. It would be one thing if you were slamming Midway for their horrible Hour Of Victory. But you weren't. You were talking about a game that actually has a great story and did something that no one ever tried before with WWII games. Treyarch you also slammed GearBox Software who makes great games and actually listens to its fanbase.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like bojocon40.
bojocon40 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could bojocon40 possibly have for not rating a single film?
