Wow. All of this action has disoriented me from my normal routine. My normal routine goes like this: Go home and play with my cat, then watch "Mad About You" reruns, then play videogames, then check Gamespot for new activity in the "gaming" community.
But now everything is awry, which scares and confuses me. Because of this I missed work for the first time in three years, which I blame on the Gamespot's new web design.
Also, I took a picture (?) of this thing:
which frightens me.
I yearn to go to Kingston, New York and Los Angeles to the production of major movies, and albums that pack as hard a punch as possible while breaking new stylistic ground. "When you're talking' about pure Cats" I says, "you're talking' about a guys who like to create different patterns and sounds, not following' other people.” I like anti-gun lyrics and Rub-adub-dub sounds to the classic New Orleans R&B of 1960 Fats Domino. Reproductions with amazing fidelity by Jackdaws and shakespearean Tax-Drivers are cool - I like songs tackling topics from race to romance to religion to the L.A. riots, helium, Deliverance and variety, as long as it has crunching beats. I like notecase; R&B reggae; rock 'n' roll reggae; hip-hoecake, and I would say pop reggae, too. I also like bands that tour.
I'm getting tired of how things are run here at Gamespot. Deletion of messages, removal of old entries, censorship - its a pain in the ass. Why do they have to get rid of all the old forum posts every two weeks now? What ever happened to history? And don't tell me about server space, that just proves they are cheap bastards. They aren't providing the service for free - except in the sense that it is free advertising and revenue genration for them. Damn pain in the ass.
Plus they have an anti-Sentient mentality that is, to say the very least, highly disturbing. I would encourage everyone to boycott this site, but that requires too much effort. Instead I will keep coming back, until I forget to.
