Some of you may have noticed I haven't been around lately...

I hope none of you are mad at me, or think I'm mad at you.  We've been pretty slammed at work (which is when I do most of my online stuff...bad me!), so I haven't had much of a chance to be on tv.com or to chat with my friends.

I've also been dealing with some stuff lately (sickness, etc.), so aside from being busy, I haven't been up much for talking.

I'm sorry, and I've missed you all terribly!  I'm trying to make more of an effort to get on here, because I've been bumming without you...

continuing the goofiness...

Morgue...

ME Rodgers: I founds something interesting in the victims mouth.

Goren: (leaning in to examing the corpse) Fish food?

ME Rodgers: How did you know?

Eames: Didn't you know?  Goren's become quite an expert in exotic pets.

Goren: (leans in, extracts a piece of fish food from Mr. Noodle's mouth, and sniffs it) Hmm.

Eames: (looking disgusted) Let me guess.  You know which kind of fish food that is.

Goren: (glances over at her) I smell soybean...that means soybean meal...which is only found in certain goldfish foods.

ME Rodgers: (looks at Eames) I bet he's picking up women left and right.

Eames: You have no idea.  (to Goren) So, I guess we're looking for someone who has a goldfish, or perhaps a goldfish itself.

Goren: (looking slightly smug) Or a koi.

Eames: (rolls her eyes, then walks to the door, muttering) Well, that certainly narrows it down.

To be continued...

We got WAY off track on the CI forum, talking (somehow) about the mixture of Sesame Street, Teletubbies, Disney, cartoons, and CI.  I figured I would continue it in a blog, so as not to take the forum into a whole new world of goofiness...

To borrow from mariska143...

"In New York City's war on cartoon crime, the worst animated offenders are pursued by the detectives of the Major Cartoon Squad. These are their stories." (bump, bump)

We open to Elmo talking to Mr. Noodle...

Elmo: I told you to get the stuff for me, Mr. Noodle.  Dorothy really needs it.

Mr. Noodle: Geez, how much meth can a goldfish do?

Elmo: (looking around cautiously) You have no idea, Mr. Noodle.  No idea.  Just get the stuff, or Big Bird will have to...do something about it.

Mr. Noodle: (looks scared) Ok, ok, I told you I'd get it, I'll get it.

We move to an office.  Big Bird is sitting at a desk.  The phone rings.

Big Bird: Hello?  Do you got the stuff?  (pauses)  Listen, I told you to get it.  Don't make me sic Snuffalupagus on you.  Tinky Winky and his Teletubbies will not do business with me if I cannot get the goods.  Tell him if he doesn't get it...I have ways...(hangs up)

Cut to Mr. Noodle, at night, in a subway, looking around nervously.  All of a sudden, he looks behind him, and screams, his hands in front of his face.

Cut to the next morning.  Detectives Goren and Eames are in the subway, looking at Mr. Noodle's prone body.

Eames: Isn't that the guy on Sesame Street with Elmo?

Goren gives her a "look," one that says he doesn't watch Sesame Street...it definitely can't compare to reading the Smithsonian

Eames: What?  I actually know something you don't?

Goren: (ignoring her) He's got defensive wounds, here, on his hands and on his arms.  (he sniffs the body) He smells like...like fish food.

Eames: (raising a snarky brow) Fish food?  He doesn't look the Dr. Doolittle type to me.

Goren: (looking up at her) He does live on Sesame Street.

To Be Continued...wahahaha...

My Recent Reviews

bobbyfan80 has written 1 review.
Vincent D'Onofrio is my favorite actor of all time. His versatility and talent are what have dubbed him "The Chameleon." I look forward to every week he is on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," and I eat up the reruns on USA...

bobbyfan80 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could bobbyfan80 possibly have for not rating a single film?
