It happened...

I've been waiting for it.

It had to happen sometime.

Charles has been gone over 3 weeks...why isn't it happening??

Military wives know what I'm talking about. In the real world, it's called "Murphy's Law". In army spouse lingo...."Deployment Syndrome"

It's when everything that can go wrong...does...BUT....only when your significant other is deployed. I've had a relatively stress free time since he left. Granted, it's only been 3 weeks, but still, I started college; put the kids in school...there were opportunities for havoc to present itself.

It finally began yesterday. Vanessa came in my room at two am, with a very high temperature, barking like a seal, and complaining that her body aches. My poor girl had to miss a day of school already...and mommy had to miss her photography class.

She's feeling better today, and I sent her off to school. I was headed to the gym and then to meet friends for lunch, and my tire's flat....yep....flat. Head to AAFES, and wait the 4 hours to have it fixed (silver lining: it was free!). So I missed the gym and lunch with friends

I know that's not a whole lot, but that's how it begins. Then it snowballs until you can't turn around without something going wrong. I'm not leaving the house for the rest of the day! Hopefully that'll work..hehe.

Tomorrow, there's a picnic with friends I want to go to....let's hope it doesn't rain!
