was insane! It was from 4-6 and apparently everyone decided to show up right at 4. Must have been a rough summer for some parents...

Anyway, it was a new school so I had no idea where anything was, the kids had the attention spans of cocaine snorting monkeys, and I was carrying 6 boxes of tissues. Thank god that's over!

It's going to be interesting having these two in school together. They are at each others' throats at home. I hope they don't kill each other on the bus, or worse...give the bus driver a stroke.

Nathan, who is four, has a male teacher this year. I don't know if that's good or bad. It's unchartered territory for us. Nathan did great in school last year, except for being aggressive. Maybe a male teacher can control that more, or at the very least scare him into submission (just kidding).

When all is said and done, I'm glad they'll both be at school. At least they get paid to deal with them. Me??? I do it for free...because I'm a sucker like that. Once again, unwad the panties...I was just kidding!

Whoo hoo...with my youngest starting her junior year and my oldest having just turned 20, those days are far behind me, but were memeorable enough that your blog post made me laugh, and cringe at the same time! You didn't have to take any of the antibiotic liquid stuff? Our schools required that, plus the tissues...so glad that's behind me. Now it's paying for student parking passes, which beats having a call from the transportation office twice a week about my kids' behavior on the bus. If they weren't killing each other, they started fights defending each other...go figure. On my daughter's first day of school, my son got off the bus about as mad as I've ever seen him. Seems his little sister beat the snot out of some kid that was picking on her older brother, and his friends gave him no mercy about having his kid sister fight his battles. Thanks for the memories!
