Yeah, I did. I saw it earlier today with the gal and genuinely enjoyed it. It was really funny, and Ryan Reynolds was hilarious. For a chick flick, it was pretty good.
Also, in a completely unrelated topic, I've ordered Halo 3, Mass Effect and Rainbow Six Vegas for my 360 from Goozex. I should get those within the next two weeks.
...Thanks to Wal-Mart for putting the Arcade on sale for $150 (down from $200) beginning today. I went there bright and early at 9am and picked one up for myself. And, as the third time is usually the charm, it works!
I've been playing PGR4 mostly, but also popped in the included XBLA disc to try out some Pac-Man CE. Never have I been this good at Pac-Man.
I also managed to complete six achievements in PGR4, totaling 140G. Still got a long while to go, but it's a start. I've managed to raise my gamerscore up to 330 in just about an hour, it was at 170 before today (thanks to GTA IV on PC).
Feel free to add me to XBL, here's my gamercard thing:
After my last blog post, I thought about my options for the Xbox. Not wanting to wait until mid-to-late July, I've decided to just get things bit by bit. "But what do you mean, you crazy, impatient person?" Well:
-- Xbox 360 Arcade (two weeks)
-- Hard drive (20 GB used, getting it friday)
-- Games (PGR4 here, Halo 3 in the mail)
-- Ethernet (50 ft for $6 on Amazon)
I'm pretty sure the console will come with a month of Live free, after that I'll get the 13-month card online. I have a second controller that I use for my PC, so that's covered. I'll see you all on XBL after the first week of July.![]()
