It's about time. To be fair, I was only playing it when my girlfriend was over, but I have finally beaten Batman: Arkham Asylum. Definitely an enjoyable game. Now I'm going back through the island and solving all the riddles and collecting what's left. Then I will start Challenge Mode. And then perhaps try to beat it on Hard mode.

I got Brutal Legend the other day, my first "new release" title from Goozex. I have yet to begin (I'm currently about two-thirds through Half-Life 2), but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I also beat Halo 3 on Heroic. I'm now playing through on Legendary as well as collecting skulls.

[Update: In Batman I've now completed all 240 of the Riddler's challenges and I've even begun the combat and predator challenge modes. They're alright.]

I beat Army of Two today for the first time. I've been playing it alongside my brother and we motored through the last half of it today. Definitely an enjoyable game, I'll be playing through it a few more times to buy all the guns and find all the intelligence things. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel, too.

I played the Left 4 Dead 2 demo as well. Very enjoyable, it's just L4D with a Southern feel. Best moment of the demo was decapitating zombies with a skillet. It even makes a big, loud thud. I'll eventually get to buying the full game when it's out, but not for a while.

Speaking of L4D, I'm still playing through the first one. I also just bought the Crash Course DLC, which was more zombie goodness. I have a feeling I'll be playing it on and off for a long time to come.

I've been busy on Goozex, too. I recently received Oblivion and Crackdown in the mail (both for 360) and Brutal Legend and Assassin's Creed are both arriving next week. Very excited.

When I get those two games, that will bring my unplayed backlog to six. Six games I haven't even started yet on the 360. Yeah, I have no reason to go out and actually buy a new game when I can get a whole bunch for very cheap through Goozex.

Toronto FC needed to win last night. In the last game of the season, they needed to win to move on to the MLS playoffs. They even played the worst team in the league, four-win New York. It was the last soccer game to be played at Giants Stadium before the Red Bulls move into their shiny new stadium, Red Bull Arena.

Toronto lost.

5-0.

On the bright side, however, it means big changes in Toronto. Their coach will probably be out, as well as a number of players. They should make some good offseason acquisitions and should be a better team next year. Or I hope they will.
