1. As you have read in my last blog, my 360 is dead. I got the box in the mail and I shipped it out. I don't have a 360 anymore for another 2-3 weeks.
2. Youtube is in a wreck! The entire site is spiraling out of control. The siter's been going downhill for the past year, and us Youtubers can't take it anymore. To respond to this corruption, we, the Youtube users, has issued a boycott on Youtube, Google, and anything associated with the two. We do realize that Youtube users alone is not going to help the cause, so I have asked the community of Gamespot to help out with the cause. On December 19, I want everyone to boycott Youtube and Google. Do not go on the sites. Do not watch any of their videos. Do not search anything on Google for those 24 hours. Don't post any links to those two on Gamespot. Don't even post images from Google. Use other search engines. For more information on this, watch this.

3. Playstation Home came out today, and I have to say that I am impressed. Sure it may be a rip-off of Second Life, but it's still good for the console users. With this world, you're able to make your own pad, roam around certain areas, and chat with anyone you want. Again, the same as the NXE, your choices are limited on what your character can be. Sure you can manually change youyr appearance, but the characters are so ugly that it doesn't matter what you can do with your character. You only have a few clothing options. You can even roam around the world barefoot if you want to. At least they give you some choice.
The most annoying thing about this world is the microtransactions. In order to buy many of the items in this game, you have to spend $.50 and more on clothes, and even spend $5 on a bigger house. Again, the selection is limited, but I can forgive them for that because the beta just launched. As fr places to go, there's only a few places where you can go. In the plaza, you get to chat with many of the people roaming in the game. In the Arcade, you can play Pool, Bowling, and some arcade games. The mall is where you can buy things. The Theatre is where you get to watch the Playstation Channel, which is on every TV in the game. LAstly, there are the game areas, where there are special places for people to go that deal with Playstation games. As of now there are only Uncharted and Far Cry 2, but as time passes, the world will expand.
What I do find annoying is when you first download Home, not everything is downloaded right away. If you're going to a new area, you have to wait minutes to go there in order to download where you want to go. Shouldn't this be included with the first download? No wonder this was only 77 MB. Overrall, Home is a fun experience. Sure the graphics may be subpar, the microtransactions are annoying, and there's nothing to do there at the moment, it brings some entertainment to the PS3 and adds a better social experience to the console.
Score: 8/10
