Will Smith is a well rounded actor. He can (and will) play just about any role out there. He can be sennsative, "Ali", comedic "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", and of course he's a great hero in action movies "Independence Day", "I-Robot" to name a few. His movies are usually a great ride from beginning to end. They are also just a lot of fun. Even if some people don't like them ("Wild Wild West") they're usually pretty entertaining. His characters always seem to have something you can realte to. Even if hee is the hero he dosen't really seem larger than life. He's a great guy and that comes across in his movies.
