Time for another blog!

Okay, everyone should know, by now, that the Tenchu Z demo has finally arrived. I have always thought the series was interesting, but not mind blowing. I decided to download it to see if was any good. I started it up and it seemed.... okay. The first thing I saw was the customizable character that I thought was pretty good. I changed my stats too. I made my partner and started the game up. The graphics, to me at least, seemed mediocre. I'm not saying they weren't terrible, but there were plenty of spots where I thought that this looked like an Xbox or even a PS2 game. The stealth kills also kind of get repetitive. Just the minor things might set this game back. The gameplay, though, is very simple and fun. The new features too, make this game enjoyable. They didn't have a co-op mode on the demo but that might be the selling point of the game. Not much of the story was revealed, but the series is known for have a pretty good story line to it.

I also tried out some of the Overlord Demo. I haven't played it enough too talk about it so I'll have to get to you guys about that one.

In other news, I have finally gotten a Wii. Actually I got it the first week of May, but I have been too lazy to blog about it. I also spent about $115 on a Wi-Fi connection so I can use the Wii to its full capabilities. I don't own many games for it, but when the all the games, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Strikers, come out I will buy them. If any one wants to add me my Friend code should be up at the top of my page.

I know that there are many people who love RPG's and enjoy playing them for the graphics and the stories that move us in different ways. I happen to be one of them, but there is one thing that bothers me ,a little, about some (not all!) RPG's. The names. It may seem weird, but I mean come on! Some of the names for RPG's aren't even real words! Hell it's probably not even a language. I can see that sometimes the titles might be Japanese, but they could at least translate them into English. Here are some examples.

Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht

Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose

Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra

Wow. I have played those games but, the only thing I can read in the title is Xenosaga and that's it. I mean I played through the 1st one, but I honestly don't recall anything about "Der Wille" or something called "zur Macht". I honestly don't think they are words at all. I'm not saying I hate the Series, but I just don't understand the Titles!

There are more, but I think you are starting to get the picture.

Anyway, I love RPG's and always will. There are probably good reasons why some RPG's are named the way they are, but it is still hard to understand them.(At least until the companies actually tell us)

Today I went to school thinking that this would be another boring and lousy day at school. I went into my 1st class and what do I see...? A substitute. AWESOME!! The sub passed out a wordsearch and 20 minutes later the teacher fell asleep on the teachers desk. The bell was going to ring in 20 minutes and with the sub sleeping we all ran into the hall and got out early. Next, 2nd period, a movie. I think it was Ocean's Eleven. We watched that and then lunch time. I had hung out with my friends talking and luaghing about stupid things. 3rd and 4th period I had subs. Then the moment I had waited for....The bell. I got out the class and headed home. I called my friend and now I get to go to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon The Movie Film For Theaters. I hope that the movie is good because I don't want to waste my money on a crappy movie. Hopefully good luck will be on my side for a little bit longer.
