I can't believe I forgot all about it. I remember it like it was yesterday. My first day on the site. When we had avatars that were 3 times smaller than our ones now and there were constant fanboy trolls everywhere. Lol and the modsused to bepretty cool. Some of them are still are( The mods that I'm friends with.). But anyway guys I plan on getting a secondary console. Don't worry PSN friends my PS3 is still my primary console but I just want another console so I can give my PS3 a break sometime. Now I'm debating on whether getting the arcade model of the 360 or a Nintendo Wii. Thing is there are some exclusives of Microsoft that I really like and for the Wii I like it because I own a N64 and I used to own a game cube and I used to play it alot especially when I have friends over. We would play the Mario Party games, Super smash bros. and Mario Kart to death. So what do you guys think?

I never noticed that yep we twins accounts lol. For Me Dissidia Final Fantasy, Silent Hill: Shatter Memories, Assassin Creed 2, Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2. Possible I might get as well L4D 2, Katamari Forever, The Saboteur, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Halo: ODST.

Same here, I can't believe I've been on this site for three years. As for a second console, that's a tough choice. Both the Wii and 360 have great games. I plan to get Wolfenstein, Halo 3: ODST, Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare 2, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii within the year.

my wii was fried last saturday (we had a HUGE thunder storm last sat, and it got a power spike), so i was going to pick up some games, but i now have to cut out my list since my warranty is done and i gotta pay for the repair. I am getting Muramasa, Demon's Souls deluxe edition, Assassin's Creed 2 and Uncharted 2 for sure tho. and Uncharted 1 if the price drops

3 years, that's nothing compared to me small fry. 
Happy gs anniversary though. The only two games I'll might get by the year's end is Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for DS and Odin Sphere for ps2.

Happy 3 years on GameSpot! I also remember those tiny icons. I'm glad they changed the size.
My best advice would be to go with the Wii since you enjoy playing all those party type games with friends (just make sure you don't hit anyone with a Wiimote like I did
).

I don't have a clue which console of the two to choose. 360 has Star Ocean, Halo, and Gears of War, that's about it. Wii has a ton of exclusives, but I'm not big on the contollers, so I would have a hard time choosing.

man, I just can say, I got a Wii, and is eating more dust than people falling on the sand, I regret buying it because it doesn't have more than two games I like, the Xbox by the contrary, I have had 8 so far, and its the best system ever for me, and only the old models broke to me, saddly 6 of them, stll have an Elite,a Pro and a launch one working fine and steady, go for the Xbox, you won't regret it if you're a core gamer.

as for what console to get I guess you should get a Wii since you love nintendo so much plus all those games you want are on PS3 as well (reffering to the list you wrote above unless there are other games you plan on getting)

Wow, 3 years NICE!
I would choose Xbox360 because it's more fun, some of my friends that had wii got bored of it with some time. Xbox360 has a lot of different varieties of games.
Also the Wiimote sucks at some games(not all) and it's really hard to control.
I'm planning on getting Batman Arkham Asylum for sure, and some other games too.

, here games costs around 30 us bucks, so I will spend in the rest of the year around half of that (200 $) on games, booyyaaa, hey, the Batman Demo was large but I think the gameplay is shallow, check it out
