If there ever is such a thing as full body ecstacy through the ears, then the album I'm currently listening to is the closest thing possible to that. I picked up the two disc album at a local Pop Tunes in the Memphis area and, so far, it's hard to keep still with how it's played. The Blue Note Trip ( Both Scrambled and Mashed ) is something you must get if you're into a mashup up chillout music filled with snippets of mind jarring lyricism. I'm talking Jazz, Hip Hop and some soul thrown in. Digable Planets, Black Thought, Grant Green, Brother Jack McDuff just to name a few. Get this, enjoy, and have an extra change of drawers cause this? This right here? It'll send a chill up your spine like you haven't felt in a while.
