my video store is closing. Business has been slow the last year or so, but recently a blockbuster closed up the street and our business picked up, but twas not enough for corporate america. We are sort of being strong armed out by the grocery store next to us. The people who own the property raised our rent to an agregious ammount, basically so we would have to close/move so the grocery store could expand.
really sucks considering ive been renting here all my life and ive worked here for like 7 years (im about to turn 25 in a couple weeks). Just depressing to see somewhere that i met some of my best friends close up. Come to think of it ive had some of the best times just being here and some of the shenanigans that used to go on.
Sad day today.

yeah, it has begun. i can for-see this as being like CoD4 was to me, playing every waking moment when im not at work or asleep.
To me its just so immersive, from the graphics to the sound, just everything. Granted Ive only played about an hour or so of the campaign but honestly i didn't buy KZ2 for the story mode, but for multiplayer, and after about 20 hours im hooked.
I feel as though KZ2 is alot more of a "tactical" team based game than CoD. With so many different badges and things you can do with said badges. The integrated clan support is phenomenal. My only real complaint about the online is no party system, but thats easily overlooked. For the online that, to me, is the only thing holding it back.
People have been complaining about the controls. Personally i think these people thought it was going to be like CoD, as in the movement would be very fast, but they were sorely mistaken. Once you adapt to the controls it feels perfect though. You just have to give it a chance.
Overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and will be playing KZ2 (at least the multi) for many many months to come.
