Iron Man was the first big summer blockbuster of 2008, however I happened to see it after I saw the Dark Knight. Iron Man was a fantastic movie, with a ton of action from beginning to end that will have your heart pounding when the action picks up.

Iron Man revolves around Tony Stark, one of the wealthiest men in the world and owner of Stark Industries, a weapons development company. Tony Stark is along on a mission with the U.S. armed forces when his convoy is struck by an attack.

Stark is held captive and is forced to build an extremely powerful bomb, however he has his own plans. Stark builds his first Iron Man suit. Stark uses this suit to escape form captivity, however this suit does not satisfy him.

When Stark returns back to the United States he discovers his company has been working behind his back and decides to do something about it. Stark develops a new and improved suit to help him take down those who are destroying his company.

Iron Man is a fantastic summer blockbuster filled with heart pounding action, a bass pumping score, and plenty of special effects that put this movie over the top. Iron Man wasn't quite as good as the Dark Knight, but it still a very very good movie.

Untraceable is a very shocking movie that shows what truly sick things can be done on the internet. This film focuses around a website called KILLWITHME? that the more hits it gets, the faster the victims that have been kidnapped will be killed.

In the modern internet age anything can be done online, and in this movie the FBI has a special team dedicated to catching online criminals. When a tip comes to the office about KILLWITHME? FBI agents Jennifer Marsh and Griffin Dowd are the lead agents on the team.

As the killer takes more victims it becomes clear the victims are not random, he has chosen his victims wisely. I will not spoil any of the murders here, so you will have to go out and watch this movie to find out what happens.

Untraceable is a good thriller movie, I would recommend renting it.

If Heath Ledger doesn't win the Best Actor award for this movie, something is seriously wrong. This is by far the best performance of the late Ledger's performance.

This movie wasn't all about Ledger's great performance as the Joker, the other performances were outstanding as well. We were once again thrown into Gotham city, which has seen a recent drop in gang related activities. Batman has been cleaning up the city, however the Joker has his own plans to bring a new style of crime to Gotham.

Everything about this movie was top notch, from the acting to the special effects, and this movie is no doubt the biggest blockbuster hit of this summer. For the entire two and a half hours you will be hit by big moment after big moment, and you will surely enjoy Heath Ledger's amazing performance as the Joker. It would only make sense that the Joker is retired after this truly amazing performance.

With that out of the way, The Mist was a movie that was average at best. The story was pretty simple, a "Mist" moves into town and a group of townsfolk are stuck in a Grocery Store. A small group bands together to try to escape from the religious group that has formed inside the store.

This movie would have been far better had the religious parts been left out, however it is still a decent movie. The ending was pretty predictable, however some people may be surprised by how it ends.

This film did not disappoint at all, it was a good addition to the series of Indiana Jones films. Indiana Jones once again used his wealth of historical knowledge to solve a particular puzzle, however I am not going to spoil any of the details in this review.

I would have preferred this movie to focus more on Senator Kennedy instead, however I am not saying this is a bad movie. The movie had a ton of big name actors, including Helen Hunt, Shia LaBoef, Ashton Kutcher (who played a terrible hippie), Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Sharon Stone, Elijah Wood, the big name actors and actresses just kept coming.

The only thing that kept me watching were the sexual innuendos between Zoom and Marsha, the psychiatrist. Nothing was funnier than hearing one of the kid superheroes say, "She blows," and having Zoom, played by Tim Allen respond, "Yes, she does."

21 is about a group of college students and their professor who play blackjack in Las Vegas. This group doesn't simply play blackjack, they are card counters who know use mathematics to beat the game.

21 will take you back and forth from Las Vegas to Boston, and showing the struggles of a young man who is having the time of his life, but has left his best friends behind.

Mr. Brooks was fantastic from beginning to end, and kept the audience on edge throughout. The movie was truly unique, something that I hadn't seen before. The plot involved a man, Mr. Brooks, "Man of the Year," who is addicted to killing. One of his kills goes bad, and Mr. Brooks is confronted with a man who has a picture of him in the act of a murder.

The action scenes in this movie were ridiculous, and the sheer precision of the shooting made the movie extremely far fetched, and didn't allow the viewer to get into the movie. After every action sequence I found myself saying, yeah right, you would never be able to do that.

The torture in this movie is downright horrifying, I can honestly say you will probably have a hard time sleeping the night after you watch this movie. This movie will make you think how many other people this type of brutal torture has happened to, it is downright brutal and I wouldn't wish this type of treatment to anyone.

Not only does Jack Kethcum's The Girl Next Door show the brutal torture, it also shows the struggle of a young neighbor who is forced to watch this brutal treatment. The boy tries to alert both his parents and the authorities, however nothing is done to stop these acts. This movie was excellent, but if you cringe when watching horror movies, steer clear of this film.

Cloverfield was simply put... Amazing!

This movie was done how monster movies should be done. The movie follows a group of people who live in Manhattan and were throwing a going away party for their friend Rob. The movie follows the party goers who document what they see on a handheld video camera.

The visual effects on this movie were outstanding, the the monster who was attacking New York City was awesome. Not only was it a best itself, it spawned mini monsters that also gave the New Yorkers fits.

Every minute of the action sequences were extremely fast paced, and the style this movie was shot in had a fresh new feel. Not only was the action great in the movie, there were also many comedic lines as well.

Cloverfield perfectly blended just enough comedic elements with tons of fast paced action, and great character building along the way helped strengthen the plot. This movie is a must see!

This movie is both a comedy and a romance film, and will have you thanking your lucky stars Alba was cast for this role. Throughout the movie she wears many nice outfits that reveal her very fine body.

Okay... enough about Jessica Alba. Dane Cook plays Chuck, a character who gets hexed while playing spin the bottle as a child and every girl he has ever had sex with finds her true love with the next guy she dates. In this movie Chuck meets Alba and fears that after having sex with her he will lose her to the next man she meets.

The movie mixes both the comedic and romantic elements well, but without Jessica Alba's smoking hot body this movie wouldn't have been nearly good. If you're going to see this movie, definitely rent the unrated version... it's worth it.

In this movie Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage) is searching for information from the missing pages of John Wilke's Booth's diary to free his family's name from any accusations. The puzzles Ben Gates solves are ridiculously hard, but he manages to solve them in mere seconds.

Even though the puzzles are impossible to solve, and it's ridiculous how quickly they are solved, the movie still draws you in. This movie is one that the entire family can see, and is worth a rent.
